I feel my phone vibrate in what it seems like episodes later. Its from Sophia, another close friend of mine.

Are u going to that dumb art thing tonite?

-Yes I am. You ready to get turnt?. I send back then look at the time. Shit, its nearly seven and I haven't even taken a shower. I hop in quickly washing my hair, I can hear my phone ringing on the counter and I know it's Noelle. Crazy girl can't live without me. I quickly rinse my hair and shut off the shower, wrapping the towel around my body and answer the phone.

"Yeah?" I say putting the phone on speaker.

"Wow. Hello to you too" I can practically feel the sass vibrating through the phone.

"Yes my dear? What's up?" I ask. I having a feeling she's already at the show.

"I was gonna ask where you were, but I have a feeling I already know." She says. Oh arent we intuitive? I can hear her tapping her foot through the phone.

"Babe, I'm gonna get dressed as fast as I can, and I'll be there before you know it. Its just downtown. It'll be 5 mins tops." I say hanging up the phone. I run to my room yanking on a silver tank top and black suede jacket. Finishing it off with black pants and boots. I jump into the car, heading to the usual spot where all of our friends hold their art shows.

Windows down, music off, I hum a song from last nights party as I get closer to the show. I hope there'll be food there, I pray. The pizza from this morning was my last meal.

I park and fast walk to the abandoned warehouse, while trying to comb my damp hair.

"Hey Simone" I hear this guy Paul say. I vaguely know him. I only remember he dated Sophia for like I week and was kind of a dick. I heard he had a small-

"Hey girl!" Sophia says interrupting my terrible thoughts. "Its been too long!" she says grabbing my hand kissing the top of it. I laugh. I love Sophia.

"Oh my, a suitor?" I gasp pretending to swoon.

"Yes baby," she says pulling me close to her. "I will ensure your happiness until the day I die" she pushes our foreheads together before Noelle runs over handing me a soda.

"Thanks bae," I say taking a sip, "so hows the art tonight? Any Michelangelos?" I ask looking around.

"Nah, just the usual street art, and weird ass sculptures." Sophia says fixing her long red hair.Thats how these art shows usually are; some of the art is really cool but others are just too weird to comprehend. I usually end up watching people look at the art and pretending to understand the artist's concept. It's pretty amusing.

"Wow, a true patron of the arts." I joke while letting go of our embraced hands. "I'm gonna take a look around, have you already seen everything?" I ask walking away slowly.

"Yeah," she laughs, " I've already seen enough." Damn, I didn't want to walk around alone. I walk around looking at a few strange paintings and sculptures while listening to The Sound Defects "Angels" playing in the background. I stop at my friends and complement their pieces in anyway that I can.

"Errh, yeah that's a really pretty blue," I say towards my friend Cody's painting. Before she can thank me, a piece across the room catches my eye. I walk towards it, totally confused on what it even is. It looks like a mess, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't intrigue me. Its covered with splattered paint, and random objects hanging from it. What the hell is this? As if reading my mind, I get a response.

"It's a combine." Someone says behind me. Startled, I gasp and turn around to see the guy from the party. Curly hair, green eyes, british accent. Well, I'm done for.
