The Bell That Was Heard

Chapter 1| New School

Kim Taehyung

"Wow Mr.Unicorn you're so pretty may I touch your fur"

"Of course Taetae but you have to wake up first"

"What do you mean Mr.Unicorn?"

"Taehyung

Taehyung....."

"Taehyung darling its time to wake up.  You don't want to be late on your first day of your new school now do you"

"Huh but Mr.Unicorn where did you go" I said with my eyes still closed.  Man why is it so bright all of the sudden and where did Mr.Unicorn go.

"Taehyung baby, It's your Mother.  Mr.Unicorn had to go and told me to tell you to get up and get ready and come eat breakfast.  You have to hurry up now you don't want to be late on your first day of school"

What? Mr.Unicorn left with out saying goodbye.  OH MY GOSH School.  It's my first day at my new school.  I sat up straight and looked at the clock it's already 7:13.  Omg I can't be late for school.  I jolted out my bed which made my mommy chuckle and leave the room.  I went straight into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and my hair. 

I then walked into my closet and search for something to wear.  There is no uniform at this school which means I will have to pick out my own clothes.

I ended up picking a oversized black and white striped long sleeved shirt then an nice cozy black sweater that you could still see the shirt sleeves.  For pants I just pulled on black jeans.

When I finally made my way out of the closet I put on a cute black choker that had a little bell of it.  For shoes I threw on some black converse high.

I grabbed the things that I needed from my room like my phone then I said goodbye to Mr.Phant my elephant stuffed animal.  Finally I made my way down stairs to eat

When I made it in the kitchen there was a plate of pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries on it and a cup of orange juice on the side.  My Mother was wiping down the counter when she looked up and smiled at me.

"Aww my baby boy is growing up. He even dressed himself.  Come here" She said with her arms open and of course I ran into them.

"Are you sure you want to go to school.  You don't want to get homeschooled anymore" 

"Yes mom am sure Taetae is a big boy now and is ready to finish high school but in a real school.  I want to make friends mommy.  Now can you lighten up I can't breath and I have to eat"

She then held me out and looked at me in the eye. "Fine.  Okay I will let you go now eat"

She let me go and I went to eat while my mom went to the other room to do something.

Man it's going to be my first time in a real school with unknown people.  To Top everting up I barely moved to Seoul too so all of my surrounding are new.  Ahh am probably going to get lost.  What happens if I can't find my way back home or something.

"Sweetie are you okay.  Hey Taehyung calm down honey.  Take deep breaths"

I didn't even notice that my breathing picked up and my Mother had came back to the kitchen and had her arms around me.  I can't let my nerves get the best of me now it will be my first day of school.

I calmed down and managed to give my mom a boxy smile and tell her that am fine.

"Are you sure honey?  We could always push the day back of when you will go to school?"
