have you ever felt so in love? to the point where it seems like you could go crazy?
hiro has.
hiro has lived on this world for about 24 years. just finished his bachelors in political science. his mother has always told him to find a good girl, and to find his meaning in life.
he thinks he's found his meaning in life. however, he hasn't found, well, his definition of a good girl.
sure, the hook-ups at the frat house were pretty cool. those one-night-stands that were mentioned at those weird parties he'd go to when he was younger. his friends always managed to bring them up at the worst times. but he had never found that one person.
you know, that one person.
that person that makes you feel sparks when you're around them. the person that makes the day worth going through. the person that makes you feel like there's actually light at the end of this tunnel.
that was, until he met zela. zela was a girl that he had been talking to for a while. they both shared similar interests; listening to indie music at 3am, speeding when you knew you weren't supposed to be speeding, ordering chinese takeout at the ass-crack of dawn, and appreciating the stars.
he had no idea that this girl would change his life. he expected less, honestly. he expected this random girl named rebecca or something to just waddle into his life and then they'd somehow have kids. he was thinking; maybe i am in love. maybe life is really changing for the better. maybe i really do have a chance at something.
these were all of his thoughts, before one day, zela just disappeared.
he looked at her facebook. she deactivated. her twitter as well. he called her phone; immediately, it went to voicemail. he had no idea what happened to her.
his idea of love was all wrong. he thought it lived on. and at first, it did. but then he moved on.
onto the next one.
onto the next one.
onto the next.
onto the next.
one.
one.
this is where he realized
these are the misconceptions of me.
