What It Takes to Be Infinite.

Null Space

Liarel was moving through Metropolis keeping out of sight for now she saw Sonic running though she decided to follow him and he lead her too Eggman himself.

"Welcome Sonic." Eggman said with his arms crossed over each other. "Glad you could make it, to your funeral!"

Sonic looked at him funny and Tails came close to his friend.

The female Jackal watched what was going on as Eggman then lifted his arms a little. "Infinite, do it!" he stated and pointed at Sonic

Infinite floated down and lifted his hand a little black purpleish dot appeared before them. "Take this." the Jackal said lowering his hand looking at Sonic

"What is that?" Sonic asked looking at it.

Liarel became a little curious to it as well.

"Har-har, that my spikey little friemy, is null space." Eggman said

"Null space?" Sonic asked

Liarel tilted her head to the side to that as Sonic looked at Tails and used his hand to say back away a little the fox nodded and did just that.

"It's a little something that the Phantom Ruby cooked up, a closed-off space where absolutely nothing exist..." Eggman explained before slowly levitating up in his hovercraft. "Goodbye, Sonic, my soon-to-be eradicated nemesis. Enjoy all the nothing."

Infinite then lifted his hand again using the ruby to make the dot turn into a black hole like thing before pushing himself away from it, everyone and everything around it was slow starting to be sucked into it Sonic struggled to get away from it he was about to be sucked in when Shadra came out of nowhere and grabbed his arm.

"Shadra, Don't! You'll be sucked in too!" Sonic stated

Shadra refused to let him go trying to hold on with all her might but then her grappling hook broke and they both got sucked into the Null Space Sonic cried out a little before it disappeared Tails fell to the ground and turned around. "But we destroyed the Phantom Ruby's power source." he said

"Tsk, tsk." Eggman said as he levitated down again. "Since you ALWAYS destroy the power source of my weapons, I decided to learn from my mistakes. I had a backup power source created under Metropolis."

Tails just looked at him stunned to hear that.

Liarel just watched before she stood up looking down and moving a little before she jumped from where she was landing beside Tails, she startled the fox a little as she got up glaring at Eggman.

"LIAREL?!" Eggman stated

Liarel just glared before she looked at Tails and offered her hand he just looked at her before taking it and she helped him up.

"I should of known you'd help them, after you escaped." Eggman growled at her.

Liarel glared at him again. "What did you expect?" she growled. "After everything you did to Infinite and myself!?"

Eggman glared at her.

Once Tails got up he backed away from Liarel as she just stared at Eggman her tail was swaying back and forth and her ear folded back sightly.

"You don't want to piss me off more than you already have." Liarel stated

"Like you can do anything... a former mercenary trained by their leader in sword combat well remember that before your precious leader made you join me my robots surrounded you!" Eggman said

"I am more powerful than I was then and even so I still managed to take your robots down without any problem!" Liarel stated

"You and the resistance will not win this war Liarel!" Eggman stated before he left the area.
