What It Takes to Be Infinite. (Under construction)

~ It was dark out in the forest and bodies were scattered all around the forest floor they were once the Jackal Squad they had not seen what happened coming they were whipped out by Shadow the Hedgehog as he was heading towards Eggman's facility.

Coming into the area to see the massacre he was a black and white jackal like all of the bodies around him, he had one bright blue and one yellow eye over his left eye was a strike of what going over it he wear black gloves with silver detailing and same with his shoes.

He looked around with wide eyes This was his squad and he was not here to help them he didn't want to believe that they were all gone before he heard something.

He looked and saw one of them was moving a little he quickly ran towards them before looking down and kneeling to them it was one of his better members of his squad she was a lot smiler colouring to him but she wear and completely dark blue top gloves, pants and shoes he was relieved to see her still moving he picked her up in his arms and looked at her face which had the same white struck on her right eye.

"Liarel..." he said

The female jackal groaned before she slightly opened up her light blue and green eyes looked up at him. "Z-zero..." She said faintly

The male Jackal moved his one hand to the back of her head and slightly bring their foreheads together. "Shhh it's alright... I've got you..." he whispered

Liarel continued to just look at him and smiled a little before she passed out cold, Zero then quickly got up and ran towards the facility putting her frame down before he went to engage Shadow.

Hours later Liarel groaned as she began to wake up and the first thing she saw was her leader. "Zero?" She asked lowly

He looked towards her and her worry grew into her eyes the one side of his face was not doing so good, it was bleeding  from massive wounds on his face he moved to her his ears folded back a little looking down at her. "Shhhh... relax Liarel." He said calmly

Liarel continued to look at him she was at a loss for words before she closed her eyes and groaned in pain she tried to move.

"Liarel... stop your body needs to heal." Zero said to her

"Mine..." she said before looking at him. "Your face is..."

He silenced her by placing a finger on her lips. "Your in worse condition than I am... you don't need to worry about me you focus on getting yourself healed." He said

Liarel was a little stunned looking at him continuously this was the first time he had shown anything towards her since she joined his squad before she could even react he leaned towards her and pulled her into a kiss.

The female Jackal was stunned looking at him before she melted into it kissing him back as she weakly moved her right arm around his neck and he moved his hand to her white patch of fur on her chest and next holding her tightly.

He pulled away after a little while looking into her eyes but never let go of her. "I love you Liarel... I don't ever want to lose you like I thought I had..." he said to her

Liarel just looked at him before she smiled. "I love you too... Zero." She replied

He then pulled her into another kiss and she returned it without hesitation. ~

The female Jackal groaned as she wake up from her memories it had been months since she and Zero now known as Infinite had gotten together and they loved each other to pieces.

Liarel went to sit up She was in a large cell with iron walls and other things Doctor Eggman had placed her into this cell a few months ago for when his plan was finally getting into action Infinite was spending a lot of time with her and not on the doctor's plan so he felt it would be best for him to take her away from Infinite so he was not so 'distracted'.

Liarel closed her eyes and leaned her head back thinking of when she was first locked away Infinite was there when it happened as well and the doctor told him he would not hurt her if he did want was asked of him.

But the Doctor's words were lies whenever he had the chance he would have Liarel beaten he didn't like her at all and walked to make her suffer for some reason, Infinite how found out what was going on for he did tend to visit her without the doctor knowing and he was quite angry to find it out.

Liarel sighed again as it was getting close for the prisoner to get their feed she was quite hungry it seemed Eggman was also trying to starve her she was really skinny he never really gave her anything to keep her strength up, she hears the door open she looked to see Infinite walk to her with food in his grasp she groaned as she tried to sit up.

"Liarel eazy..." Infinite said once he got to her.

Liarel groaned again. "Everything hurts..." she said lowly

Infinite sighed as he set down the food and taking off his mask before pulling her into his lap and leaning her head into his chest also being mindful of the gem on him. "I know it does..." he whispered.

Liarel cuddled into him one hand gripping onto the gem lightly she knew if he didn't do what Eggman wanted she would suffer more than he would and he was not going to let her got even worse than he was already though she wish she could rip the gem off of Infinite and go back to their normal lives like they use to be.

Infinite was petting her head lightly as he held onto her he felt that it was his fault for her being like this and wanted to fix it but there seemed to never be a way to do so. I am sorry for everything Liarel... he said lowly.

The two of them remained together before Infinite slowly moved her back onto the ground before he kiss the told of her head and looked into her eyes. "I'll be back as soon as i can..." he said lowly

Liarel looked at him before she nodded and went to grab the food he brought to her, Infinite got up grabbing his mask and putting it back on as he walked out of the cell closing it behind him Liarel watched him leave before she sighed and started to eat the food she was given.

Sonic had heard what was said between the two Jackals from the other side of the wall he was stunned to hear it and he wanted to know more about them.
