Chapter 3

A/N: Hey everyone, it's been a while since I have written anything, but I just hope you are all still with me here. Anyways, let's begin.

(Y/N's POV)

One word to start of my day...: "SHIT"...Y'know why? It's because of someone's whistle, blowing in the room next to mine, making my jolt awake and groan in anger. Because of that, I couldn't stay asleep since I had to arrive at the cliff on time. So, I groggily got up from bed, did the usual morning routine, changed into my battle wears before I set out to the cafeteria to get some food to eat. As my master would always say to me, you either eat first, or you don't eat at all...in figure of speech...He would give the most brutal of training sessions, but in the end, he is a kind man...As I made my way to the cafeteria, I stumbled upon the same bunny faunus from before, who had just bumped into me without looking ahead. She squeaked a little and fell on the floor, but I caught her by the hand just before she made contact with the floor, and her eyes were closed the whole time. When she realized that she didn't fall to the floor, she opened her eyes and met with my E/C eyes, which then made her blush in the process.

???: "O-oh, i-i-it's you again..." I pulled her on her feet and chuckled.

Y/N: "It's nice to meet you again miss. How is the ear faring you?"

???: "It's doing well, thanks for asking-" 

???: "Velvet, there you are!" She was interrupted by a girl with coffee colored hair and a brown beret to go with it, along with shades as well.

Velvet: "Oh Coco, t-this is Y/N, he was the one who saved me from Cardin yesterday..." Then the said person looked at me with a pair of lustful eyes as she took off her sunglasses.

Coco: "Well hello there handsome, nice to meet a fine piece of muscle like you here~" I did not react to that...

Y/N: "Likewise to you, a lovely work of art if I do say so myself." She blushed beet red after I had said that.

Y/N: "Anyways, I'll see you two at another time, I have to get to the cafeteria before I get to the cliff."

Velvet: "We understand, anyways, thanks again Y/N." I nodded at her and turned to Coco.

Coco: "Goodluck out there handsome." I nodded again before I ran to the cafeteria and ate and heavy breakfast, and afterwards, I made my way to the cliff area, with a few minutes to spare, so I stood at the edge of the cliff, and I took a squat before meditating in the rays of the glorious sun. As I continued my morning meditation, I heard footsteps from behind me, but I obviously knew who it was.

Y/N: "Hello Ozpin, Glynda..." I felt a surge of annoyance in Glynda as I stood up and walked up to the both of them.

Glynda: "That's Professor Goodwitch to you-" She was interrupted by Ozpin, holding out his cane to her.

Ozpin: "Leave him be Glynda, there's no need to get too hostile with our newest addition to Beacon." She looked at him for a few seconds before sighing and dropping her act.

Ozpin: "Now, Mr. Xiao Long-Branwen, are you ready to begin your intiation?" I smirked before responding.

Y/N: "Who do you think I take for Oz? Of course I am."

Ozpin: "Then let us begin, and before we do, we will be broadcasting your performance all throughout your intiation." As he said that, I nodded before walking over to one of the platforms assigned to me before he spoke to the drone infront of him.

Ozpin: "People of Beacon academy, it is my great honor to introduce you all to our next addition to Beacon, Y/N Xiao Long Branwen." The drones then circled around me as I looked at the forest ahead of me.

Ozpin: "He will be applying here for Beacon, so now, are you ready Y/N?"

Y/N: "Ready when you are Oz, let me tear up some Grimm if you please?"

Ozpin: "As you wish." He then pressed a few buttons on his scroll before I was launched into the air, but not before I also used some of the earth to launch me further into the air, making me reach the clouds with no problem at all. Now, the real problem was landing...

(Yang's POV)

I was watching Y/N's initiation in the cafeteria with my team, and I got to say, I was not expecting that...

Ruby: "Woah! That was so cool."

Weiss: "Hmph! Now his only problem is how to get down...Like he can ever even make such a feat-" She spoke too soon as Y/N fell to the ground, making a huge crater, and emerging with earth, acting as his armor.

Yang: "Spoke too soon Ice Queen."

Weiss: "Hey!"

(Y/N's POV)

Hmph, barely made a scratch into me. Anyways, I was already on my way to the ruins, and I so happened to have made it in a quarter of an hour, which was very gratifying. As I arrived there, I saw that the relics used were just chess pieces, but these had a sort of feeling of power to them.

(A/N: The pieces looked like these)

I walked among the different type of chess pieces and my eyes fell on the knight piece, with it's reddish type color and dominant design, so I picked it up and nodded.

Y/N: "This one." I placed it in my pocket and decided to head back; however, I was interrupted by a sudden roar behind me. SO, I turned around, and I saw an Ursa Major that was way over an average Ursa Major's size. However, I just smirked at this...

Y/N: "You think that you can be able to stop me? Hah! Don't make me laugh!" I got into my fighting stance as it roared in anger and charged right at me. I decided to just toy with it as I dodged most of it's strikes and taunted it even more. But I got bored and used my semblance to trapped the Ursa in an earth cage before I clasped my hands together, squashing the Ursa in the process. Afterwards, I cracked my neck multiple times before my eyes fell upon the Nevermore that was flying above my head. I took action and sprang upwards with my earth, and I activated a fracture of my second semblance in order for me to punch through it's rib cage and out the back of it, securing me the victory. I landed back to the ground and looked back at me work...

Y/N: "Too easy..." I then walked back to the cliff face.

(Timeskip)

Ozpin: "Y/N Xiao Long Branwen, you have obtained a very rare set of relics, and you have also displayed a particularly good set of skills. For that, you will be put on a one-man team until we have found other late applicants. Your team's name shall be known as Team DRGN (Dragon), Congratulations." As he had said those lines, everyone, except for my sisters, clapped and cheered for me as I got off the stage, which made me meet with my sister's halfway.

Yang: "Y/N...we're so so-" I stopped her there with an abrupt shoulder shove before walking away, making her fume through her nose, and leaving Ruby to look gloomy.

Ruby: 'Big Brother...I didn't do anything...'
