Happy Ending?

Hunk POV
           It was now Saturday. Tomorrow me and Keith had to return home. "I know long distance relationships never really work.." I said to Pidge trying not to cry,"but we can make it work!" Pidge smiled softly."I hope so." She then left so no one would see her crying. Keith and Lance went off on their way to say goodbye. "I'm such a crybaby.." I whispered to myself as tears kept rolling down. Today was me and Pidge's first date so I should be happy not sad.

Keith POV
           "How do you not cry about this?" I questioned. Lance and I were at the park. We didn't want Hunk and Pidge to see us crying. I hugged Lance close. "I don't want to leave.." I said with my voice cracking,"I want to stay with you.." Lance was silent and kissed my cheek. "We'll see each other again soon." He then starting crying and I held him closer.
            We eventually stopped crying and walked back to the house. "I'm gonna start packing my things," I said to Lance walking up the stairs,"you wait for me at Pidge's." Lance nodded and walked down the street. I went inside and started packing my clothes into my suitcase.

Lance POV
           I walked inside Pidge's and found it strangely quiet. "Hunk?" I said aloud. Hunk then appeared from the kitchen with an apron on. "Why is it so quiet?" I questioned. Hunk shrugged and went back to baking. I'm guessing he's stressed if he's baking.. I went to Pidge's room and knocked. "You're in there right Pidge?" There was no answer. I started to get worried considering last time. "Hunk? Where's Pidge?" Hunk rushed out and knocked on her door as I did. "I saw her go into her room." Hunk said worrying. I went in the living room and grabbed the keys for the room. I unlocked it and found her window open. "Stay here." I told Hunk as I went to her window and looked out. I saw Pidge on the roof, crying her eyes out. Even the worst of demons have feelings. I sighed and climbed out the window and hugged Pidge. "It'll be ok.." I started telling her. All she did was nod and wiped her tears. "It's almost 3..you want to get ready for your first date?" I asked trying to lighten the mood. She smiled lightly and got up. We made it back into her room and Hunk was sitting on her bed. He walked up to her and hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry we live so far away.." He said. Pidge only continued to nod. "Let's get ready for our fate." She then said starting to smile again. Hunk smiled back and nodded. "Yeah!" I smiled at how cute they were.

Keith POV
           I finished packing all of my clothing and all that was left was my laptop. I decided to get on our group chat to see if anyone has been on.

Space Dad: This chat is so quiet now.

Allura: Not used to it.
@everyone if you do not end up coming to our graduations, I'm going to kill you.

Keith: Geez.

Nothing to really comment on. I sighed and packed up my laptop and began to walk out of Lance's house. "I'll see you again soon.." I said talking to the place. I've become very fond of this town. Through almost dying and being with Lance, this past week has been fun. I walked down the stairs barely able to keep hold of my case. I almost tripped in the process. I then saw a man in a black trench coat watching me from across the street. "That's not creepy at all.." I said under my breath sarcastically.
             The man continued to eye me as I got closer to Pidge's place. He then got in this van next to him and was following me. I walked quicker. The van then drove onto the concrete and that's when I ran. The man tried to chase me but I was already on Pidge's stairs. I quickly unlocked the door with the spare key and locked and shut it. I heaved with relief and threw my things on the couch. I fell on the floor to breathe.

Lance POV
           I heard Keith run inside and I went to go check on him. He was on the floor, breathing heavily with his stuff thrown on the couch. "Babe? You ok?" I asked him concerningly. He got up and hugged me still rapidly breathing. I then saw his eyes light up as he stopped hugging me. He ran to find something. He came back with a notebook and a pen. He wrote something down and showed me. "I think I finally found who that anonymous person is!" I smirked but I was confused. "What happened?" I asked. He sighed. "After I had packed my things, I was walking over here and there was this man in a black trench coat. He started eyeing me intensely before getting into this black van," I explained thoroughly,"and the van started to follow me until I got closer and it drove onto the concrete and that's when I ran and that's when he started running after me before I came in here and opened the door. Luckily, I was able to see the license plate and here we are!" I smiled. "That's my Keithy!" My comment made him smile and blush. "I'm gonna go call the police" I nodded and watch him go to the kitchen.
            Hunk came into the room a few minutes later and he was dressed up all fancy. "Ooh! You look so nice!" I commented. He smiled,"Thanks!" Pidge then walked out in a green floral dress and black flats. Hunk's mouth dropped open. I almost laughed at his reaction. He cleared his throat. "Ready to go, m'lady?" Pidge giggled and blush,"Yeah!" I smiled as they waved goodbye and went to their date.
         Keith then rushed out as the door shut. "Aw! Did I miss them being cute?" I smirked."Yep!" He sighed and sat on the couch next to me. "The cops are tracking the plate right now."

"I thought you had to do that in person?" I asked. "Nah. They understood that I could still be getting followed so they let me do it over the phone." I nodded understandingly. We sat in silence for a bit before I yawned. "I'm tired Keithy I'm gonna go to sleep." He nodded. "I'm gonna stay up and see what the cops find."
           "Good night I love ya." I said to him.
"Love ya too Lancey." He said back
to me smiling.
I love that boy to death.
