How Las Vegas Really Happened

They had time to kill after the lights show when Reese spots something across the fountain. It's Angel! And she's with someone? Reese drags Ben over to the other side, still a few feet away when he  calls out to her.

"Angel! Angel Summers!" He waves and smiles. The man next to her jumps a bit and looks confused before she whispers something in his ear, which makes him relax. Ben is suddenly a ball and chain on his arm, Reese has no idea why he would be afraid of Angel. 

"What the hell man? That's Angel, I work with her. Didn't you want to meet her?" The innocence in Reeses eyes destroys any argument Ben had in him, and he follows his new husband toward the couple.

"Reese! What are you doing here~?" Angel quickly runs and hugs him, eye patch and glasses in place. Reese blushes and puts an arm around Ben, determined to be more confident about his choice to love him. This makes Angel falter for a moment before lightung up at the ring pop on Ben's finger.

"When in Rome eh~?" She elbows and teases Reese.
"Nice catch~ Oh, there's someone you should meet as well then." She gently takes the hand of the man she was with, who's wearing a mask like they hand out in the doctors office during flu season. He seems confused but waves awkwardly, he can't seem to take his eyes off Ben. Angel breaks the awkward with her charming voice.
"Reese, this is my fiance I've told you about, Jeff." She relaxes into him and smiles up at him, you can almost see the hearts pop out of her like a cartoon. Reese holds out his hand and greets Jeff, telling him what a lucky man he is before Angel pulls him off to side to catch up, leaving Ben and Jeff in some very awkward staring.

I've always wanted to see a real awkward chapter for Terrible Fates where Ellie and Jeff and Ben and Reese go on some kind of double date. This isn't finished and I might not finish it, I just love the series and have to fill in the time eternal takes to write such incredible chapters somehow 😊 I hope you liked!
