Third POV
Today was the beginning of the second week of school. Vylette decided to wear something that would keep her cool since it was gonna be in the high 90s today.
Vylette parked her car in the space that she did everyday, for some reason it was always open. She got out and was immediately tackled by a small body. "Lettie my love you ready for the second week in this he'll hole." Emma chuckled.
"Emma shut the fuck up it's to early for that shit." Alyssa ground out. Walking up to Vylette she snuggled herself into the taller girl. Vylette patted her back knowing she was upset about something.
"Wow what's wrong?" Emma asked putting her hand on Alyssa shoulder.
"She's back." Alyssa grumbled. Emma sighed and Vylette started walking toward the school Alyssa still barried in her side. At the entrance Alyssa spotted her. "I hate her. I hope she trips over her 10 inch heels falls down a fight of stairs and starts on fire." Alyssa cursed.
"You say anymore it might come true." Emma laughed.
"Hopefully." Alyssa grumbled glaring at the dark haired girl down the hall. Vylette stared at the girl they used to be friends with.
"Why is she only showing up now." Vylette asked looking down at her to shorter friends.
"Ah she does it every year she skips the first week and then when comes back she is surrounded by people. Hey maybe Devin will finally stop bothering you since they have been an on off thing for years." Emma informed. Vylette cringed at the sound of his name. She disliked very few people but he was one of them.
"Hey babe you're looking hot today did you dress up for me?" A male voice spoke looking the silver haired girl up and down. Soon after an arm wrapped around Vylette's waist. "Didn't know you had so many tats babe." The blonde boy said.
"Get off of me." Vylette's usually straight voice was now cold. The arm slowly released its hold. Vylette walked away without looking back as she always did.
The bell rang and Emma had to forcibly remove Alyssa from her death grip she had on Vylette. "Come on Aly let's go." Emma tugged on Alyssa's arm.
The classes went by quickly but then it came time for gym, and Vylette decided not to go she texted her friends saying she would see them at lunch.
Vylette walked out to her car and looked up any nearby cafes. She decided on one called 'black coffee cafe'. Vylette drove there and got there in 10 minutes she noticed this area look familiar but didn't put much thought into it and walked in.
The inside was nice and smelt of sweets and different teas and coffees. There were also only men inside everyone of them looked like they could easily break someone in half, but of course Vylette paid them no attention. She walked over to the barista.
"What can I get ya sweetums?" The man asked while drying a cup. He was definitely surprised when someone walked in and was even more surprised that it was a woman. most people in this area won't come in considering it is the hang out place for ruffians and criminals.
"Can I get a cup of Earl Grey and lemon bread, please." Vylette handed him the money and walked over to an empty seat by a window. The man soon came over with her order she thanked him and he walked away.
Vylette sat there sipping her tea and scrolling through her phone. She soon felt a familiar feeling, she looked around and saw that no one was looking at her. 'Just like at the club's Vylette thought. Thinking that Vylette remembered why this place looked familiar it was attached to the club she and her friends had gone to a few weeks ago.
Vylette looked toward the back and sure enough just like in the club the was a room above the bar, only this one was open and had railing instead of windows.
This time Vylette could see who was up there. It was a man. They made eye contact and it did not break until her phone buzzed. She looked down and read a message saying 'are you coming back lunch is going to start.' From Emma. She texted her back asking what they wanted to drink and that she would leave after she got there order.
Vylette walked up to the man behind the counter. "Do you need anything?" The man asked.
"A latte macchiato and Americano and another earl grey all to go, please."
"Coming right up." The man said and got to work. 10 minutes later she walked out of the cafe.
"Lettie where did you get these they're amazing." Emma exclaimed for the 60th time.
"Hey babe where did you go during gym?" Devin also asked or the 60th time.
"Baby there you are you totally disappeared after gym I've been looking for you every-" The black haired girl immediately stopped talking when she noticed Vylette. "He-hey Vylette I didn't know you were coming back." Abby stuttered. Vylette said nothing she just got up from where she sat and walked away.
"Hey Lettie wait up." Emma screamed as she and Alyssa ran after her.
