One day they will text wanting to know how you are and other days you will not even get a reply, one day they will meet asking to fix things up, for next few days they will pretend as if you don’t even exist. One day they will call saying it’s over and for next few days they will keep calling as if nothing happened. One day they act all nice, the other day they make you beg for even a call. One day they ask to be friends again, other days you will not even know where do you stand in their life. One day they cry on phone pretending they are sorry for what they have done, the other day all you get a rude message and tones.
I know they keep coming back trying to talk as if nothing happened, they will call and pretend as if all is fine, they will text when they are bored, they will insist on being friends with you, they will act angry if you say no, they will pretend they still care, they will tell how they don’t want you to be alone
and you will sit there confused not knowing what to do, you will raise your hopes high thinking they still want you reason they contact you, you start praying for things to be back to where they were and you keep trying to find the answers to their mixed signals.
But let me tell you why they do what they do.
They call you again and again because they are alone, they are alone and they don’t want to be alone, they want someone to talk to and who can be a better person than a heart they just broke knowing how vulnerable that heart is and will talk to them as they please.
They message as if nothing happened because they are bored, they are bored because they have nothing better to do and what’s better than playing with a heart they just broke knowing even a sound of notification from them will make you go back to replying to their texts as they planned.
They asked you to be friends not because they care for you, but they want someone to be there as their second option till they find someone better.
Trust me they don’t want to be friends because they think you are alone because honestly, they don’t even care about it. They want someone to be there for them when no one is, to maybe join them for a movie or a dinner and not worrying about giving a tag to the relationship.
They cried and said you deserve better, they cried and said they are not a good person reason they left you and you my love with melt thinking how genuine they are to feel that ways for you but didn’t they know they aren’t good when they came into your life, didn’t they know than that you deserve better and now when they have to leave because they don’t want you any longer it clicks them that you deserve better?
Please know they don’t love you anymore I know this is the last thing you wish to believe right now but this is the sad truth. They just want you to keep a little longer to not feel alone because when someone breaks up trust me they don’t do it in a day. The thought of breaking up with you runs through their mind for days and months but it’s only now they gathered the courage to convey it to you. And when a relationship ends a void gets created for both the people because obviously when you are so used to be talking to each other none of you wants to be alone but in a place where you don’t have much option because it's them who have ended it, they on their other hand have a privilege knowing they can trick you into being friends or keep you a little longer until they get completely over you.
So if anyone of you is going through someone like this please gather the courage to block them off from your life because more you let them in, more they will break you off and you my love don’t deserve them, you deserve someone who genuinely loves you and that person will not come until you let this person go because let me tell you a secret, this person wants to keep you closer fearing you will find someone else and here he/she will be left alone. So let them go to let someone new in.
