Chapter Two~Bonding and Shopping

After lunch,I decided to take him home with me. I drove up the driveway and parked in my garage,the sound of barking greeting us.

"You're not scared of dogs are you,Naruto? "I asked as I undid his seat belt. He shook his head excitedly,nearly spilling his orange soda and chicken nuggets. I smiled at that,he was such a cute kid. "Good,I have two."I grabbed his hand and walked him to the door,locking my pristine,white SUV. I unlocked the door and Royal and Zsa Zsa came running. They clambered around our heels,sniffing Naruto in the process. They nearly knocked me over,and Naruto dropped his nuggets,which they scarfed up. He pouted and I laughed. That was so cute.

Eventually,we settled into the living room,Naruto watching the tv,me on my laptop,and Zsa Zsa and Royal napping at my feet. I snapped my laptop closed and turned to Naruto.

"Naruto do you go to school?"I asked him. He turned to me and shook his head with a quiet,"no." I grinned and grabbed my purse. I looked him over,as I got ready. He had on a dirty beige top with holes in it,baggy shorts that were ripped and torn with loose seams,and holey mismatched shoes. I frowned,"come on. We're going shopping and enrolling you for school tomorrow." I put Royal and Zsa Zsa on their leashes and we piled in the car.

I parked my car and we got out,Naruto grabbing Zsa Zsa's leash and me grabbing Royal's. We went to Hollister first and got him like 6 jackets,and 4 pairs of sweatpants. Then we went to American Eagle and got him 16 pairs of regular jeans,36 shirts,16 pairs of shorts,and 24 pairs of socks and a bookbag.Then we went to Foot Action where I got him 34 pairs of shoes. Then we went to some random store and got him 42 pairs of underwear and boxers. It was expensive but when your mother is a fashion designer and your father a doctor,it didn't matter.

We grabbed something to eat from the food court and joked and laughed, before heading home. I turned the puppies loose and carried a sleeping Naruto into the guest room. I lay him on the bed and covered him up,and went to get the bags out of the car. I placed his stuff in the closet neatly before shutting the door.

All in all....today was a good day. I called the school to let them know about Naruto. I fed the puppies and climbed into bed,exhausted. I love being a mother.
