Chapter 8: Nine Lives

As Ivory entered the cave he walked down a long tunnel it felt like moons before he reached the Moonstone and when he did moonlight hit the stone and a bright white light almost blinded Ivory as he touched the icy cold stone and fell into a deep dream. In this dream the Starclan cat from his last dream was there but there were more cats behind her. "Welcome Ivory I see you listened to me my name is Bluestar I was leader of Thunderclan before Firestar came to the forest. Now we will give you nine lives with this life I give you courage to stand tall in even the toughest situations." Then Bluestar touched her nose to Ivory's he felt a jolt of pain stronger than anything he has ever felt in this entire life. Then Bluestar backed away and another cat came then another, then another until Ivory had nine lives. "Now you will forever be known as Ivorystar first leader of Iceclan." Bluestar purred, then all of Starclan chanted "Ivorystar!" Then all blurred and Ivorystar woke up he felt all of the new power coursing through him. He got up and walked to the end of the tunnel and emerged out of the cave the bright sunlight burning his eyes. He blinked a few times and saw all of his friends in front if him smiling and meowing their welcomes "Ivory your our new leader!" They shouted, "I'm not Ivory anymore I'm Ivorystar." And with that they all returned to camp asking their new leader questions and they all seemed happy Ivory had never felt happy around Paupi but now that he had his own Clan, he felt like he could finally make everyone happy and make himself happy if Starclan trusted him he needed to put more trust in himself he would be a better leader than Paupi and he would make Paupi pay!...
