Oblivious woke up feeling as energized as every day. Well, that is, after she had her green smoothie. She doesn't just drink them because they're healthy, she actually likes how they taste.....and her girlfriend Angelica suggested them.
After preparing a blueberry sliced bagel with Berry cream cheese with actual berries on top and placing it on a plate, Oblivious' Laptop made a *ping* sound and she hurriedly over to an oval wooden coffee table with her blueberry bagel and half drunk green smoothie.
Not thinking, she sat down on the table and opened up her notifications.
The table was making creaking noises. Pleas for help. But Oblivious ignored them. It wasn't until she had started typing that the table collapsed from her weight, spilling her drink everywhere and causing splinters in her legs.
"FU-! OWWWW!!!" Oblivious cried.
Her brother, Laurence, bolted up from his sleep and ran to investigate the loud noise.
"Oh my- pfffffttt!" Laurence broke into hysterical laughter at the sight of Oblivious' situation.
"LAURENCE! IM FUCKING BLEEDING OVER HERE!" Oblivious shouted.
"Oh Shit. I'm sorry!" Laurence lifted Oblivious up an sat her on the couch.
"Laury! I have splinters everywhere. It hurrrts!"
"I know. I'm calling Angelica. Stay strong Liv. Don't move."
"WAIT! NO! DON'T CALL ANGIE!" Oblivious lunged towards Laurence.
"Liv, her brother is a nurse. And he's in town right now. I'm not paying for you to go to the hospital."
Oblivious sighed, "Fine.."
Ten minutes later, Angelica and her brother Angelo arrived at Oblivious and Laurence's apartment. Angelica waisted no time and busted through the door.
"LIVVY! Oh my gosh. I heard what happened. How much blood are you loosing? Are you okay?!"
"I was attacked by a table!" Oblivious whined
"Well uhm, now that you guys are here, please take care of Liv. I cleaned up the broken table pieces but we need a new table. I'm going to Ikea to buy a new one." Laurence slipped on his Nirvana hoodie and was almost out the door when Oblivious shouted in agony,
"Bring me back, a brownie blizzard from Dairy Kiiiiing!"
Almost on cue, Angelica handed Oblivious a red cup with a blue logo on it, dripping with brown milky liquid.
"I almost forgot! I bought this for you, my dear!" Angelica pushed back Oblivious' hair and kissed her forehead.
"Nevermind Laurence!" Oblivious said while shoveling ice cream into her mouth.
"Haha Okay. Bye!" And then Laurence want to his super rad blue car.
