didn’t know what this kid had done, I didn’t know if it was as bad as he made it look. I didn’t know why Belle wouldn’t just forgive him. I didn’t know if he was the bad guy here or if Belle was. Hell, I didn’t even know his name. All I knew was that he had done some bad shit and that his first name probably began with M. I want to know more. I need to know more.

I went through the box I fell over and found a piece of paper. I wrote down the return address and got up. I poured the tea up in a cup and drank it up faster than I should have. I burned my mouth; pretty freaking bad. Then I started walking to the hardware store, to buy some paint.
After an hour of choosing the right color I finally found the ones I wanted. I picked a light blue for the bedroom, an eggshell white for the living room and a black for the bathroom. Well, I was only going to paint one wall in the bathroom, but still. I paid and started walking home. On my way I passed a few smiling ladies. Some said hello, others just glared.
When I got back home I started painting. I spend the whole day, painting. 6 days before going back to school, I was painting.
At around 7pm I got a text from my best friend.

“We’re gonna b @ the Plaza. Meet us in 30?”

I looked up at the walls and realized I was completely done.

“I’ll be there.”

I moved around on some boxes and finally found my suitcases filled with clothes. I started digging around in one of them for a nice dress. The first one I found was my black little dress, so I decided to wear that one. I put my hair up in a loose ponytail and dressed my feet with a pair of Vans. I grabbed some perfume and redid my make-up quickly and then I started walking towards the Plaza. It was only a five minute walk from where I was living, so I got there right on time. The place was packed with people today. Loud music was played from the speakers.
Here’s the thing, there’s a huge difference between daytime Plaza and nighttime Plaza. During the day, all students went there to study or eat breakfast or just talk. But at night… Well. It was basically like now, only today was band night. Which means there’s a live performance. Tonight was some local, unknown band with a few groupies.
I made my way over to the table we always sat at. And there they were.
“Y/N!” my best friend shouted over the music. “How was your summer break darling?” she asked and hugged me tight.
“It was okay I guess.” I said truthfully. “I’ve missed you guys though!” I continued and faced the rest of the group. Connor and Katherine got up and joined the hug.
“We’ve missed you too Y/N!” Connor shouted. We sat down by the table and listened to the band.
“Hey, where’s Shawn?” I asked Julie – my best friend.
“He’s rehearsing.” she said and realized I had no idea what she was talking about when she saw my confused expression. “Haven’t you heard? Shawn is performing here in two days for the first time!” she shouted happily.
