GraveYard Statues

People say that statues are spirits that live for ever. Some believe they can speak. Many people even believe they move. Not me, statues are statues they can't move, they can't speak. I was so so wrong. My ignorance meant I had to pay the biggest price.

It was June 7th and like any normal Wednesday I was walking home from school I looked at the time. It was 4:26 and I had to be home before 4:50 but it would take me another 40 minutes I had no option but to take the shortcut through Oakland Cemetery.

Everyone at school told story's of how people go missing and about ghost but I don't really listen after all I was stupid.

But I had too other wise if be in big trouble. So I put the story's and tales out of my mind and started through the grave yard.

For the first 5 minutes everything was perfectly fine. but then the wind started to blow. The rain started to fall. The lightning started. This felt a bit weird because (1) It was the begging of summer (2) Only 5 minutes ago it was sunny (3) I looked over too the gate and from that point and out the weather was fine.

I tried not to think to much about this too much and kept walking forward I walked through the torrential rain I eventually reached the exit and got home just on time.

That night I had a really strange dream. I was running around in the cemetery in my pyjamas there were screams and flashing lights all around me. It was making me dizzy. this woke me up.

But I wasn't in my bed. I wasn't in my room I wasn't even in my house. I was lying on a grave in Oakland Cemetery. I sat up quickly to scared to scream. Standing in front of me was a statue...
