"My heart still wants more but that
sunlight is setting. I wanna tell you more
about my honest feelings."
☾Irene was staring at the CEO - i mean right through the CEO. She was staring at the black haired beauty behind the CEO - Seulgi.
Seulgi had large eyes which sparkled and dazzled like shooting stars. She had her perfectly straight hair tied up into a messy bun which made her look sexy that day. Did she just drink water. Irene was triggered by the fact that Seulgi was drinking water.
Irene was currently at a meeting with the CEO for some reason which she was obviously oblivious to since her distraction was there.
"Any doubts Joohyun?" SM asked.
Irene snapped out of admiring Seulgi's presence.
"Wha-What?" Irene stuttered.
The five poor girls have been in the conference room for an hour now and Irene still didn't know what the heck was going on.
"Have you even been listening Bae Joohyun?" SM asked impatiently.
"uH yes," Irene replied.
"Have a nice holiday!" SM chirped away and walked out of the conference room.
"WE'RE ON HOLIDAY?" Irene yelled asked.
"Yes sweetie haven't you been listenin?" Seulgi asked and gave Irene a half smile.
She called me sweetie. Irene thought, her heart melting on the inside. She smiled.
"BAE JOOHYUN!" Wendy YeLLeD.
"Wha- Yes i've been listening! What makes you think i haven't been?" Irene chuckled uncomfortably.
"WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT A HOLIDAY FOR THE PAST ONE HOUR AND YOU ASKED IF WE'RE ON HOLIDAY!" annoying maknae screeched, annoyed at the older.
"chill baby," Sooyoung cooed.
"can yall stop calling each other cringey names when yall aren't even DATING?!" Wendy spat.
"You're just jealous you have nobody to call cringey names to !!" Sooyoung rebuked.
"Am NOT !!" Wendy blurted.
"AM TOO !!" Sooyoung spat back, sticking out her tongue.
Irene couldn't take another minute of this childishness anymore.
"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!! WE'RE ALL ON HOLIDAY SO WE SHOULD MAKE THE BEST OUT OF IT!" Irene spat.
"Agreed with unnie !!" Seulgi chirped.
"She started first-"
"STOP IT LET'S GET PLANNING YOU HOES!!" the maknae (surprisingly) screamed, leaving the other four members' mouths wide open.
☾
"Suggestions please," Irene started the second meeting of that day.
Sooyoung and Wendy were glaring at each other, not breaking eye contact, Seulgi was twirling her hair with her fingers while waiting for someone to start and Yerim, well, was being as clingy as usual to Sooyoung.
"If we're not going to start now, we'll be spending our holidays in this jail and watching netflix which is WHAT WE DO EVERYDAY!!" Irene let out her frustration.
Gosh being the oldest is not easy.
Irene always thought that way. But what could she do? She is the oldest and couldn't change that fact.
"Park Sooyoung do you have a useful suggestion?" Irene asked, trying to calm herself down in the process.
"Well, we could travel to Hawaii-"
"The holiday is a 5 day holiday. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GO TO HAWAII IN 5 DAYS AND SIGHTSEE THERE AND BESIDES THERE ARE NO GUARDS ASSIGNED TO US FOR THIS HOLS-"
"shh hon, i'll be your guard," Seulgi propped herself next to Irene and whispered into Irene's ears seductively. She then went back to slouching on the couch and twirling her hair.
Irene knew that what Seulgi did was just a joke. Nothing more, nothing less.
But something in Irene told her otherwise. It told her that Seulgi was interested in her or Seulgi was trying to seduce her.
Irene quickly shrugged the thought off and continued her speech.
"I suggest a staycation at a hotel by the beach," Irene suggested to actually start the ball rolling.
"Omai no darlin. How about a camp?" Seung wan suggested.
Irene's lightbulb shined for the first time.
A campfire! That's it!
"Excellent idea!! We shall get started tomorrow! But we'll camp at a beach resort so no one recognises us. I'll get SM to book the whole resort," Irene talked in a very very happy tune.
A camp huh? That sounds really fun.
