Love Is A Flame

Who says that life can't be understand or teach to understand? Why it is like we born, we die but don't live the life because we just live the time.

We haven't live the life at all and when we lose this time, we think that why we didn't live the life? Why we live in time?

But as all old books and quotes.... We can't do anything after the time flew by. Except of regret, nothing left..... Nothing!

She was standing in middle of the hall with the bouquet of red roses in her hands. She was seeing here and there to find someone when all of a sudden someone calls her name. "Tania !" she turned around to see the familiar face of her best friend. "Faiza!" she waved her hand and they both jogged towards each other. They both embraced.

"Congratulations at your brother's engagement!"
Tania said, breaking the hug. "Thanks" Faiza smiled and accept the congrats.

"Come on. Let's meet my brother's fiance." Faiza took Tania's hand and they made their way to the stage. Tania wished her brother and his fiance and gave the bouquet to her. After talking for a while, they both left the stage together.

"I haven't seen your mom since I'm here." Tania asked, tilting her head a little to find Faiza's mother. "She was here minutes ago" Faiza's eyes also searched for her mother but then she quickly grabs Tania's hand and started walking forward.

"Hey, listen!" she snatched her hand away from her which made Faiza to stop and face her.

"He didn't arrive?" Tania asked with a sad look in her eyes. "Who?..... Who are you talking about?" Faiza held her smile back and gave the questioning look. "I'm talking about your cousin." Tania said with the serious look on her face.

"My all cousins are here." Faiza said sheepishly. "I'm talking about Shayan....." Tania blurted, quite irritated. "Ohhh! You're talking about the Great Shayan ...well.." Tania shot her dry look and punch her on the shoulder.

"Ouch! Why are you hitting me? He can be here any time soon. Also only his police training has finished, the posting orders haven't arrived yet." she quickly got aside after finishing her sentence in case of Tania will again punch her.

Tania stare back at her for a while then abruptly let it go." Well.... May I ask something? " Tania started walking around with Faiza behind her.

"Yes?" Faiza started walking beside her.

"How's Shayan your cousin?" Tania stopped in the way and start talking to someone.

"His mother is my mother's cousin." Faiza also stopped to see her face.

"Okay" Tania  nodded slowly and then her eyes laid on him. He wore jet black dinner suit which looks so good on his 6'2 height. His light brown hairs were messed up but still looks good on him.

Tania nudged Faiza at her side with her  elbow. "Shayan came." Faiza also see at the line of her sight and smile brightly. "Thank god he came or I'll be dead by you..." Faiza said looking at the roof.

"Shut up!" Tania rolled her eyes, watching Shayan who was also coming at their way.

"What's going on?" Shayan asked standing beside Faiza and in front of Tania.

"Tania is going to kill me in the happiness of your arrival..." Faiza said innocently.
Shayan's eyes roamed between Faiza and Tania and finally laid on Tania's hands which were rested on Faiza's neck.

Tania immediately removed her hands and take one step backward so she could be away from Faiza. "Go away!" Tania was blushing slightly. The small smile made its way to Shayan's face but he wipes it away.

"I'm going, I'm going. Also I don't want to be the third person in you two  love birds....." Faiza rolled her eyes. "Wait! Don't move from here. I'm going to take my mom" Faiza said before walking away.

"Were you really hitting her?" Shayan asked, stopping his smile back.

"No way! She was lying" Tania scowled. There was a long pause between them. The silent was so comfortable that they both didn't want to break it.

"Tania!!" Shayan broke the silence. "Can I tell you something?" Tania raised her head to see Shayan's face. There was a small but beautiful smile on his face.

"Yes..." she asked nervously. "It's my first time seeing you like this..... You're looking absolutely great!" Tania got puzzle for a moment.

It was true that she remains so simple always. But for the function today, she wore black silk dress with light embroidery. She also has light makeup on her face with matching jewelry. Her black straight hairs were not captured in a ponytail instead they were falling on her back.

Shayan's compliment made her lightly blush but then her blush changed into a large grin. "Was that all you want to say?" she asked. Her eyes were fixed on his face.

"No. I wanted to say something else also then I thought, firstly I've to say you beautiful. Old people says if you want a girl to accept something, then you've to compliment them first." Shayan inserted his hands in his black suit pant pockets.

"What do you want me to accept?" Tania's eyebrows furrowed. Shayan waited for a while as if he was choosing the right words to say.

He started talking slowly. "Tania ! I don't know from when I start thinking like this but this thing is in my heart for a long time. Just, I haven't said it before. I was waiting for the right time.." His voice was so low. Tania barely understood what he was saying.

"I don't know if the time is right now or not but I just can't wait anymore" he pull up his eyes to see Tania who was already watching him.

Shayan's husky voice and the river of emotions in his eyes made her to be on cloud nine. Tania thought, he's going to say everything she wants to listen for three years..

"Tania !.... I want to say that I...." His word were cut off by Faiza's voice.

"Excuse me!!" Shayan and Tania, both get out of the moment.

It's never going to happen... Tania thought.
