Why me? (Aaron Carpenter)

Chapter two

Alyson's POV:

ring ring ring

Ugh. School.

I start school today and fortunately there is no uniform. I can put on whatever I want. I'd usually jusy throw on some pajamas that look like clothes but not today. Not my first day as freshmen at my new school in Louisiana.

I took out this cute white skirt with black polka dots that reached 2 inches above my knees, my black vans, and my blue buttoned shirt. I layed them on the bed and got undressed and stepped in the shower. Sense my hair is long and curly, I have to wet it everyday so I can fully brush it. To my surprise, it was easy to brush today. I picked up two small peices of hair from the sides of my hair and tied them together with a cute bright pink bow. I put some hair spray to make my curls look more curly, picked up my pink and blue back pack, and headed out to the kitchen. Mom and dad weren't home. They had work to do.

"Hey Luke! Come down for breakfast!"

"Coming!"

I served myself some cereal and started to eat.

"Jeez sis. Thanks for waiting for me."

"What? When im hungry, I dont wait on no body."

My twin, Luke, wasn't bad looking. He had brown eyes and short brown hair. Just like me. He was tall for his age. He always got the ladies' attention. He wasn't shy. Unlike me. I can't talk to people unless iv'e known them sense I was little. Im average in height. Im not too tall and not too small. But I like it. I want my boy friend to be taller than me. And Tony is taller than me. Im pretty sure we're meant to be. I have really tan skin but I don't like it because I look orange in every picture. ew.

I finished eating breakfast and headed towards the door, Luke following behind. We walked to the bus stop.

*after bus ride*

We arrived at school and went our separate ways. But soon enough, we were reunited. Apparently we were locker buddies. I had locker number 36 and he had locker number 37.

I got out my first period books and headed to homeroom.

I sat in the middle of the room. The teacher came in and started off introducing me. great.

"So class you have a new student. Her name is Alyson Rivera. Everyone make her feel at home because it can be hard to be the new student in shool."

"Hi" I said quietly.

Everyone kind of mumbled a hey and went on their phones. Yep. We're allowed to have our phones out as long as we pay attention and get higher than a C-.

Some boys looked up and stared at me for a few seconds, smirked, then went back on their phones. Jeesh. Tough crowd.

I sat down and waited till homeroom was over.

I was heading towards class when I remembered I had forgotten something in my locker. Im lucky we have a full 8 minutes in between classes or else i'd be late already.

I reached my locker and I opened it and got the stuff I had forgotten to take out. I closed my locker and turned around when I accidently bumped into someone. It was.... AARON CARPENTER?!?!?!

"Dude!! Watch where youre... going. Oh sorry I thought your were someone else."

"Aaron? Are you the guy from vine?"

He sighed. "Ya ya."

"Oh well. Nice to meet you. Im Alysa. Im new in school. Today is my first day."

"Oh well nice to meet you too. Look I gotta go. Bye."

"Bye."

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! Did I just talk to the Aaron Carpenter?! What is he doing here? Is that his locker? Are we locker buddies?

Ring ring ring

Ugh the warning bell.

I walked to class in a fast pace so I wouldn't be late. Apparently high school shares classes with the upper grade because it takes two years to finish a specific class or people need to take the class again. So right now I have history. That's one of the classes that take two years.

I don't like big classes. Especially with kids older than me.

I entered in the class and I saw what seemed like 50 people. Some boys were in a corner and they seemed to be the 'nerds' of the school.

On another side of the room were some girls that seemed to be nice and on the middle of the room there were lots of guys and girls surrounding something or someone. I can't see who or what it is tho.

I walked up to the nice girls and introduced myself. I was right. They are nice.

I learned their names and they accepted me into their 'group'.

Jamey is the pretty brunette. Her hair reaches up to her hips. She's really tall but not exaggeratedly. Her eyes are green

Katey is the other brunette. Her hair is short and She's twins with Jamey and is also pretty tall. But her eyes are brown.

Alyssa is the blonde one. Her hair is long and she's really small. Her eyes are blue.

Kim is the red headed one. She's average in height and has tan skin. Her eyes are green.

And then there's me. I'm the brunette. I have brown eyes and I'm average in height.

All of them have straight hair, unlike me. I've always wished to have straight hair.

The teacher came in the class and once again I'm introduced. I sat with my new friends and started taking notes.

Almost at the very end of class, the teacher announced that we were going to have a project to do. But we're not gonna choose our partners. I was disappointed that I couldn't choose to be with my friends but also I didn't know anyone so I wasn't sure if they were nice or not.

The rest haven't been chosen yet. I know for sure that I'm not gonna be paired with my new friends because they're with other people. I guess Mrs. Hamagushi went with boy and girl. I hope I'm paired with someone nice. The weird thing here is that girls were screaming "PLEASE PAIR ME WITH--" and were interrupted by other girls starting off with the same thing and also interrupted. I couldn't hear who they were talking about but it was probably one of the nerds so the nerds can do all of their work.

The rest of the pairs are gonna be paired up tomorrow in the beginning of class.
