I licked my lips and looked around the class, my eyes came in contact with Adora's eyes, she was trying to say something, The answer I guess, her mouth kept moving. I read her lips "proper noun " Mrs adetokunbo nodded. I looked at Adora again she mouthed the answer again.
"collective noun " I said the last one with so much confidence. Adora is such a life saver.
"sit down "Mrs tokunbo ordered.
she continued her boring class, 45 minutes seemed like forever.
It was finally break time, the class became noisy and most people left the classroom for the cafeteria I guess, kiki was about leaving the class, she was walking with a tall, dark, robust girl, the girl has one mark on each of her cheek, I ran up to them , " kiki
" Yes " she replied, the girl turned and stared at me in a weird way.
"can you show me the way to the bathroom" I asked kiki intentionally ignoring the other girl.
"go down the hallway and turn left, it's boldly written " she replied while pointing at the way
"okay,thanks." I said and started going.
Finally I arrived, I looked into the mirror , I patted my head while sighing, I washed my face and prepare to move out.
"Hey " I heard a voice, it's a masculine voice, WTF I thought this was female only, what will a guy be doing at the entrance, I opened the door and stood face to face with the intruder and guess what it's no other than Micheal, what does he want?, that's his business, I ignored him and tried to leave but he didn't even move an inch,so I moved back.
"we don't need dumb students in this school" he blurted out with a smirk plastered on his gorgeous face
Wait, is he talking to me, I looked around and discover that we were the only ones present.
"are you referring to me " I asked with a frown
"Is the any other dummy around here " he retorted
"What are you saying " I said calmly. Well I'm usually calm that's how I was trained to be.
"You wouldn't have gotten that question right without Adora's help, even a toddler would have gotten it right "
"so? " I asked, my arm crossed around my chest.
He chuckled "so, you are not even ashamed of yourself"
"why should I be" I sighed " If you are done fooling around move out of the way"
he moved back a bit creating enough space for me to leave.
"students like you only bring disgrace to the school, study hard even if you have a fish brain" he said

" humans don't have fish brains" I replied calmly

I didn't reply, silence they say is the best answer to a fool.

" I don't think I need to prove myself to you or to anybody " I retorted almost immediately
I am already getting tired of the conversation. I started walking down the hallway.
"Don't hang out with Adora" He groaned.
I ignored him and kept walking, I walked straight to the canteen. It is filled with different students all in a single file , some were already sitted with either snacks or food, I recognised some of them . I joined the queue, the queue is moving slowly.
I felt a hand on my wrist, turned out it belongs to the cute adorable Adora.
"What are you doing on the queue, come on, you are a senior" she said as she dragged me to the front.
We both ordered what we wanted and paid. she dragged me again to an empty seat beside the window.
"Don't you think we cheated those junior " I started because I noticed some of them frowning.
"Nope " she replied as she drops her phone on the table and take a seat, I took the seat opposite her.
We both started eating, I bought one coke and one meat pie while Adora bought one egg roll, peanut and coke.
"Are we allowed to bring phones to school " I asked
" Yep as long as you are a senior and it must be in silent mode "
kiki appeared out of nowhere and took a sit beside Adora.
We all ate silently till we heard a beep from Adora's phone, she looked at it and smiled.
" uhm... I'm coming, "she said as she stood up and walked out of the canteen.
I became worried about what Micheal said
"don't hang out with Adora " is she a bad person I wondered
