We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all the necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl no later than July 31.

Students are required to bring:

Uniform

3 sets of plain work robes (navy blue, gold Gordian Knot fastening)

1 winter cloak (navy blue, gold Gordian Knot fastening)

1 pointed hat (navy blue, for daywear)

1 pair of Protective Gloves (dragon hide, Snallygaster hide or something similar)

Please note that all of the student's uniforms are required to carry a name tag at all times in case they get lost and to be able to identify their clothing.

Students may bring a cat, an owl, a rodent, a toad, a raven or crow AND/OR certain magical creatures

Note: Wands will be given at Ilvermorny and students are not required to bring their own wands before arriving.

Note: Parents are to be reminded that First years are not allowed to bring their broomsticks.
