The day of the summer festival came too soon. The maiden was late almost every year to the festival, but this year, she had a purpose for going.
She slowly put on a red and black yukata and headed out for the festival. An elderly woman walked past her and bowed as she kept walking.
Night fell on the festival, the maiden finally made it as well. She accidentally bumped into a man with a Tengu mask on, or at least it looked like one...
The maiden stood there starring at his mask-like-face. She saw the man blush softly making his face tomato red. "Sir, are you running a fever? Your face is completely red!" The maiden said in panic.
