New Author Awards - Set B - 2018

|Introduction|

Hey guys and welcome back to The New Author Awards! Set A Round 1 is over and it's time for us to start the Set B nominations!

So without any further ado, let's just start knowing about everything that is new!

✴Firstly, how are we going to judge?

There will be three rounds. First will be the people's choice awards. Similar to the previous awards, people are going to vote for their favorite stories.

The top ten stories from every genre will be selected for the round two. Round two will be based on your story title and its description. A good title and description automatically makes the reader interested in the story. The top five stories from every genre will be decided by me and these five stories will enter the third round, which is the last round.

The top five stories from round two will be read and rated by me and at the end of the awards, and there will be only one winner for every genre. No first, second and third prize holders. Just the number one!

✴What is everyone going to get?

The stories that enter the second round and are not able to clear the round can take help from us in editing the description or the title. All the people entering the second round will be featured on our Instagram - newauthorawards so make sure you go and check that out.

The stories entering the third round will get a special mention on our message board for all the visitors to see and a sticker from us saying "New Author Awards Top 5 {Genre}"and will also be mentioned separately on our Instagram story as well as a post.

And then comes the winner! The ultimate winner gets a shout out, a video (this time it will be uploaded on Instagram and flipagram too so no copyright issues), a winner's sticker, votes and comments on the story by this account, A permanent follow from us, a mention on the message board, story will be featured on we heart it by my original account - swasanraglak (go and check that out) and also on my original fb profile (link given on my original account) and entry in our reading lists from both of my accounts. And, the winner will be featured in 2018's New Author Interviews too!

✴What are the rules?

The rules are simple, but a little different from the previous awards.

🏆You've to permanently follow this account as well as the original account swasanraglak, because I'll be giving you a shout out from both the accounts.

🏆Add this book to your reading list and your library for updates and news.

🏆 Add the tags #NewAuthorAwards #SetB2018 in the tags section (not in the story name)

🏆No Forms to be filled anywhere in this book. Just Add the tags and I'll find it on my own. I repeat, no forms to be submitted. You can also mention this account in any one of your chapters in addition to the tags.

🏆For the first round, multiple voting is NOT allowed! The voters can vote for any three stories of their choice in a particular genre. EVERY VOTER CAN VOTE FOR ONLY THREE STORIES THAT BELONG TO ONE GENRE. However, voters can vote for all the genre stories (three for each)

🏆Story under hundred votes(on the book, not in the awards) may be not considered for round one, you guys can enter round two after telling me about your story being under 100 votes! One Shots are not considered for this rule.

🏆Writers can enter as many stories as they want, but all should be in different genres. No two stories from the same writer can be accepted in one genre (unless permitted by me)

🏆No Plagiarized work allowed. If someone finds that an entry is a copy of someone else's book, please let us know in the dm section of either this account or swasanraglak

🏆 Books entered should be written in English only. A little bit of Hindi or French is accepted because i know only these languages, and i can't judge if you write in some other language.

✴ How will i judge?

🏆The title should be eye catching and the description should be interesting. Any stories having descriptions only like "Go And check out the story" or "thanks for stopping by. Do read the story" will not be considered.

🏆The Stories should be intriguing. The More i get addicted to the story, the better ratings it gets.

🏆Plot. By plot, i actually mean they actual plot. You know, there are some stories which have a very interesting description, and when you start reading, the chapter 1,2,3,4.... 29 are completely based on sex. The story starts from chapter 30 and then pauses at 34 and from chapter 35 to 50, its sex again and chapters 51,52 and 53 are actual story plots and the story ends. I'm okay with your story having sexual scenes, but there's a limit. I'll also consider stories that have a lot of sexual content only if it is a part of the story. Not just randomly put sexual scenes to get more views.

🏆Use Of full words. Now please,i no mny wrtrs lk 2 wrt lk dis bt it is a pain in the neck for the readers because not everyone is a pro at reading like that, including me. Short forms like "ASAP, BTW, etc" are unacceptable but will be considered for now. (Remember, you won't be disqualified if you use incomplete words. It'll just affect your performance)

🏆Characters Of the story. If your characters are well defined and show a particular kind of behavior through out the story, you get a point. If it's about changing someone's bad behavior to make them good, it'll be considered.

🏆Level Of editing. If more than twenty percent of your chapters are unedited, get to work now. Because I will give you points for editing. If there are very less unedited chapters with very less number of mistakes, you'll get a point.

🏆Spellings. Try to write the right spelling for things. You write on a computer or on your mobile, so you'll know if a spelling is wrong.

✴Things That i won't consider while judging:-

🏆Number Of reads, votes comments on the story.

🏆Grammatical Errors. Everyone does them and many won't even know about it while editing also. So I won't be a Grammar Nazi at all.

🏆result of round one and two. If your story is the highest voted story of the first round, that doesn't mean that you will be the winner. Also, the highest voted story of round one may not qualify for round three if the story title or description isn't good enough.

🏆Popularity - Yes guys, if you're new on Wattpad and don't have any readers, but your story is good, you'll be the winner! Your popularity doesn't matter.

🏆The Number of other awards you've won!
