Somewhere in the middle, he found a picture of them. He stared it for a minute and kept it back in the closet.
But that night he couldn't sleep, that picture made him restless. "We seemed to be so happy in the picture. Her laughter is like a rain which actually changes the aura by her existence" he muttered to himself.
"I really shouldn't have shouted on her in such a bad way. I can't see her shredded into tears. Such a grumpy person I am!" He got trapped into his own thoughts.
"Should I call her to say sorry?" He looked around to grab a phone but he couldn't gather courage to call her. "She must be asleep this time ", he consoled himself and put the phone below his pillow. "But she could have make it on time at least today, after all it's my birthday. She is like that from beginning, a clumsy, messy and foolish. She can't make a priority. But what if her priorities are changed , what if I am not there on her priority list. I should not expect many things from her now", he turned on side to sleep and not to think but he couldn't.
He headed towards the closet again and took out the picture. "Everytime I look at her smiling face and these twinkling eyes, I come out of my anger. She is such a darling." He again whispered to himself and replaced the phone with picture. The phone  was having a message.
"I am sorry for the last night. I know I should have come on time and I really wanted too but this office work made me fatal. You were correct Dad, I should accompany you in business. "

He get up from bed with smile on his face and replied "I am still mad at you. What made you think to bring a sugarless cake on my birthday. Please keep it in mind for next time."

His phone flashes again with reply"It's not sugarless Dad, it's sugar free"
