The "Happy-Man" was a serial killer from the 60s-90s decade. He was known because of his cold and painful ways to torture and kill his victims. He was recognized because of the happy face-like scars on the backs of his victims. Nobody knows much about his name, his family, or if he is still alive.
There have been about 120 confirmed cases about his murders and 4 cases that had witnesses of the crime; this is one of those cases.
Laika's Murder (1985)
"It all began 3 years ago, when mysteriously my cousin and my aunt disappeared. Some days later we received a card with a smiley face and a knife on it saying, "You're next." My sister, Laika, was the one who read this note. She took it as a joke and threw it to the trash. 5 days later I had an interview on my office and left my sister home alone.
When I came back I saw the door on the floor. A lot of glasses were broken and there was a path of blood leading to Laika's room. Then, I found her arms and legs stabbed onto the wall backward, without a shirt on, and a happy face made of scars in her back. Years later when the house was cleaned and all was back to normal, I received a card like my sister did, saying, "Your turn".
I got desperate and called the police. I told them to protect my home but it was all in vain. He did enter my home without anyone to notice; he attacked me and cut my legs off, but didn't kill me. Then he told me, "Johnson, it's been a long time" (which is not my last name.) Then, I shouted and fainted. I woke up in the hospital with a lot of cameras and reporters waiting for me outside my room. I had been in a coma for 6 months. Some time later I heard that the police caught this serial killer, but he mysteriously disappeared when he was in the interrogatory. " -Richard Pattinson (1993)
Personality, Appearance and Mysteries
He was described by some satire comedians by being a "cheerful" and "active" guy. Who always "did his job with a smile". But this was a lie, he was cold, serious and extremely non-expressive. He had a special ability of stealth escaping even on places someone would notice.
Some witnesses who saw him said that he always wore a black shirt and jeans. Other people said they saw him disappearing in parks, like a ghost. His last reported cases were in 1998 and 2010, which are still not confirmed, because of his supposedly "old age".
Some rumours say that the only way to defeat him is to make him smile, which is supposedly IMPOSSIBLE.
