Salia- a Simon and talia story

Wireless 2017

"Ughhhh" I sighed as I brushed my hands through my silver hair and rolled off of the bed onto the hard floor. I groaned in pain before picking myself up and stumbled down the stairs to meet the rest if the guys, already sitting down eating breakfast. "Why the fuck didn't you make me anything?" I ask as I plonk down on the stool next to Josh and put my head in my hands. "Because, lazy bones. You were dead asleep when we tried to wake you and gave up!" He replied. "We don't have any time now. Go and get dressed, we have to leave in half an hour, Si." I sighed again as I pushed myself up out of my seat and rushed up the stairs and into my bathroom to get dressed. I threw on an SDMN logo t-shirt with black jeans and plain shoes and gel my hair into a feux NOT A QUIFF!!! I brush my teeth and head back into my room, dragging my bag behind me as I walk down the stairs to the rest of the guys. "Ready to go?" I say in a more lively tone. "Yep" everyone chimes as we unlock the door and get into our cars, driving to the event. Wireless. This is what I was waiting for the past 2 weeks. Josh had told me his girlfriend Freya knew someone I might like. This could be my chance to end all lonely jokes in the future. I close my eyes and drift asleep whilst Josh drives us along the road and think of how much fun the event would be.

I was awoken, suddenly to the slap of my best friend Josh my back shouting in my face. "We're here!!!!" He screamed as I groaned in annoyance. "Ok, ok. Let me out of the car before I go deaf!" I climb out of the car, into the fresh air and the golden ball in the sky shines down on me on this beautiful day. Josh, Tobi and Freya (everyone else who came with me) lead me around the event, listening to great music and seeing people dressed up so freely. It felt nice to be here amongst so many happy people, all here for one thing. Music. We walked around for a while until we met up with some of Freya's friends: Gee, Nia, Steph and Talia. I must say, Talia was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen! Her long beautiful hair (which was a wig) looked gorgeous with a bandana wrapped around her head and her extravagant makeup, specially done for the event stood out and it was beautiful.  She wore a velvet, grey crop top, with a matching choker and denim shorts covering her slim figure. Beautiful.
"Hi." I say as she walks over to me followed by Freya.
"Simon. This is Talia." Freya says "I thought you might like to meet her. She has a great personality and I think you two would get on really well" she exclaims as I give a warm smile to Talia and she returns one to me. Her smile is enough to give anyone the most wonderful feeling of butterflies in their stomach and it made me happy. We talked for a long time, eventually losing the rest of the group as we got distracted by eachother. We spent the rest of the day together and I was so glad I'd met her.

Talia's POV
"Hi." Simon says to me as we are introduced by my best friend, Freya. I reply with a hello and introduce myself. We get talking for a long time. He gives me butterflies in my stomach, which is weird because I hate butterflies in real life. I don't know why, they just scare me. And don't judge me, but I don't like spoons either. We lost the rest of the group as it began to get dark and we walked over to the large crowd of people dancing in front of the festival stage as a slow song began to play. The ocean eye coloured boy took my hands and held me close as we danced to the sweet music and I smiled into his chest, since he was so tall. Right there and then, I knew. This is where I wanted to be for the rest of my life. He was everything I was missing.
He was perfect.
We were perfect.
The night continued and we exchanged phone numbers, Instagram and snapchats and kept in touch that night. We spoke on messages all night and laughed and joked with each other. I knew we were going to see eachother again.
