Shane's Party

It's Saturday morning and it's 9 a.m. I got to get ready for the party tonight but I'm not so sure if I wanna go. Shane's my best friend and I should be there for her on her big day. So I got out of bed and made myself some breakfast. I fed the dogs and let them go outside. I changed my clothes. I had a busy day ahead of me. After I finished breakfast, I grabbed my jacket and got into my car. I went to the beauty shop first. I arrived there at 10 and left at 11. I had my hair washed, dried, greased, combed, and braided. Then I went to the mall to find the perfect outfit. I picked a black long sleeve shirt and some Levi blue jeans. I bought some new Timberlands, some matching diamonds studs and a hat. It's now noon and I decided to grab a burger to go. I ate my burger in the car and drove to the Club where I work at. My job is to serve alcohol and make sure there is plenty of it in stock. I have to keep track of how much beverages there are. I did that for about three hours. Then I took my car to the car wash to get it cleaned for the party. Then I went home and rested for a few hours. At 6:00, I took my shower, changed my clothes and put on my jewelry. I put on my chain that my grandfather bought me for my high school graduation. It was the last thing I have of him. It has my name L.J. on it. I put on my diamond studs and my hat. I put my Timberlands on then I grabbed my wallet and jacket. I got in my car and it was 7:30. I drove to the club on time. Sierra and Shane hasn't arrived yet but everybody else has. I went inside and Dre' was setting up her booth for the party. "What's up, player?" "Hey, what's up, man? That gear you're wearing is fly, yo!." said Dre'. "Thanks Dre'. So you got everything ready?" "Yep, Sierra and Shane should be here soon. Damn! Look at all those fine honeys over there." said Dre'. "You know what, Dre? I bet you can't get any of those girls numbers by the end of the night." "Well, all right then! I bet you can't find a girl to dance with tonight." said Dre'. "It's a deal!" We shook hands and I went to the bar to serve the beverages. "What the hell was I thinking? Making a bet like that. I'm just not ready for that yet." I thought. Then again I can't lose this bet to Dre'. It's now or never. It's now 8:00 and Shane and Sierra have arrived. "Hide! They're coming!" said Lee. Shane and Sierra walked in the building. Everyone yelled surprise! Shane was very surprised. She saw her all old buddies from school. Sierra was wearing a sexy dress and she had her hair done too. She was just so beautiful. Dre' started the music and everybody was dancing. I began serving the alcohol and Mookie served the food. The party was off the chain. Dre' is so good at dee-jaying. She calls herself D.J. Smooth. Everybody's having a good time. After three hours of serving alcohol and food, Dre' came over to the bar and order herself a beer. "Hey, L.J. It's time to do our show for Shane." "Ok, I'll be right there." "Hey Mookie, can you cover for me?" "Sure, L.J. but do I get paid extra?" said Mookie. "Yes, Mookie, you can." "Thanks, L.J." "No problem." Dre' and I went on stage and Dre' introduced herself. "Everybody havin' a good time tonight?" said Dre'. The crowd went nuts. "My name's Dre' aka D.J. Smooth and we got a surprise for Shane tonight. Me and L.J. got something planned for you and we hope you like it. "Yo, L.J., You ready for this." said Dre'. "Yeah!" "Bring the beat in." I turned the music on and Dre' started rapping. Lee sang the chorus.
