Chapter 26

A/n: I literally skipped like 2 weeks in the book but when they went to dinner Mr. Jimmy just told everyone about the job ect. Then Annie and Hayden spent time together before he left.

Annie's POV

It's been 1 week since Hayden moved I've been a little depressed. I miss him like crazy; sure we FaceTime and text everyday but it's not the same as his hugs, kisses, and cuddles it's just not the same. Today is really hard for me because I'm realizing he isn't coming back anytime soon. It's Friday 5pm, I haven't been out of my room or ate all day, I haven't been on my phone all day.

I picked up my phone and I had 7 missed calls from Hayden and 3 missed calls from Kenzie, 4 texts from Hayden and 5 from Kenzie. I opened Haydens first.

Hottie😍😘- Hey babygirl 😘
Hottie😍😘- I miss and love you!
Hottie😍😘- Everything okay?
Hottie😍😘- Annie are you okay???

I replied

Me- Hi, I love you too and I miss you too!! Everything is ok and I'm fine.
Hottie😍😘- Okay, I'll FaceTime you later my dad wants me to go to a business dinner with him. 🙄
Me- Alright, bye love you
Hottie😍😘- Love you too babygirl, bye

Now to open Kenzie's.

Kenz😍- Heyyyyy
Kenz😍- Yo Annie
Kenz😍- Julianna Grace Leblanc!!!
Kenz😍- Pick up the damn phone!!!
Kenz😍- IM COMING OVER AND STAYING THE NIGHT! I WILL C U AT 6PM! 😡😉😀

I replied

Me- Hi, sorry. You don't have to come.
Kenz😍- ur fine. What u don't want to c ur best friend?!
Me- nono I want to c u.
Kenz😍- good I'll be over in 30mins and I will have chick-fil-a and Starbucks with me because I know you probably haven't eaten all day!
Me- okay..... Thank you.
Kenz😍- That's what friends are for!

I set my phone down and decided to take a nap, I set my alarm for 30 minutes.

As soon as my alarm went off I heard the door bell ring, perfect timing. I heard my mom yell "Hayley can you get the door". 3 minutes later someone was knocking at my bedroom door.

A- Coming
*Knock knock knock*
A- I'm coming I'm coming, god mackenzie!

I open the door and I get takled with a hug. After we release from the hug-

K- You look like shit
A- Well thanks alot *I say sarcastically*
K- Your welcome!

She walks over to my desk and sets down a bag from Chick-fil-a and 2 pink drinks.

A- You are literally the bestest best friend ever! *I hug her again*
K- I know I am *hugs back*
We pull away from the hug.
K- Well let's eat

After we ate we sat on my bed facing each other.

K- How you holding up?
A- I'm not, kenz I miss him so much. I miss his kisses, hugs, cuddles, and where he would do something stupid an I would call him a name and he would say "I know I am but what are you?" *I let out a sad chuckle*
K- I'm sorry Annie
A- It's okay, it-its j-just *I start crying a little* Kenzie i-i don't think I-i ca-can do th-this any-nymore *I start sobbing*
K- I know, come here.
She pulls me into a hug and I just start sobbing and crying.
K- Annie your phone's ringing...... It's him...
I let go of the hug and look at my phone to see Haydens FaceTimeing me.
A- He-he can't see me like this!!!! *I whisper shout*
K- I got it.

Kenzie answers my phone.

K- Hey Hayden!
H- Hi Kenzie, where's Annie?
K- Annie is- ummm
She looks up at me panicked, I make hand gestures to make up something.
K- sheeees uhh umm busy?
I slap my hand on my forehead. Really Kenzie busy?!
H- Uhh okay? Can you just have her call me?
K- Yeah sure totally! Bye
H- Bye?
Kenzie hangs up.
We both fall back on our backs on my bed.

A- That. Was. Such a horrible excuse.
K- Sorry! I get nervous under pressure!
A- It's fine what's done is done.
K- I'm tired and we have to get up early..
What? Get up early?
A- Wait what?
K- We are going out to breakfast then to the mall to pick out an outfit for tomorrow nights party at Carson's.
A- kenzieeeeeee I don't want to go to no party, especially without Hayden.
K- Well your going the only thing you need to worry about controlling is the crazy ass party girl inside you when your drunk.... Oh and your getting drunk!
A- Ughhhh I just want to stay home and eat chips!
K- THAT WAS LIKE 7 YEARS AGO!!
*we start laughing*
A- Fine let's go to sleep.
K- Goodnight Julianna
A- Goodnight Mackenzie

Off to dreamland I went...
