" Alright let me get out of here , I got early classes in the morning " , I said as I stood up from Anthony's bed.
"Alright be safe" , he said adjusting on the bed before putting his hands behind his head watching me get ready to leave . " I will " , I said giving him a hug .
I then left and walked down the hall. As I was walking I passed by a vending machine and got a bag of hot fries and and coke. When I got in my dorm I threw my things down and got comfortable in my bed . I was scrolling through instagram when I saw one of my followers @dopeboidre had shouted out a cute boy by the name of @Jasondarealist . It was a picture of him smoking a blunt with the smoke blowing each and every way.
I double tapped the picture and clicked on his name I followed him and was about to start scrolling through his pictures until my phone exited out of instagram and Abigal's contact name came across my screen , indicating that she was face-timing me .
I pressed the green accept button and soon her face popped up. " Hello " , I said smiling into the camera .
"Hey Girl , you thought I forgot to call you didn't it ?" , She said with a cheesy smile.
I chuckled lightly at her overly excited attitude before answering her question . " Not at all best friend . I know you know how to keep a promise , you ain't ever showed me different yet so ima stick to your word until other wise." , I said giving her my honest opinion.
She nodded her head . "I'm glad you know best friend ." , She said smiling at me . "So what you been up to ?" , She asked while I was watching her shuffle in her bed.
"Girrrrllllll nothing much , school . Tryna finish this up so I can get back home to my mama . What about you ?"
"Same girl , just also tryna keep tabs on La'Asia . Mama said she been real quiet lately not acting like herself. So i'ma have to check up on her .
"Yes , you better see what's wrong with my baby we might have to beat some ass when we get back home . " I said causing her to laugh . She shook her head ." You are a mess " , She said , but knowing in reality I was serious. We talked all night until we both got tired and decided to call it a night.
~ The next day I woke up about 9;45 and took a shower. I put on a basic pair of jeans , a tight white fitted tank top , and my bred 11's. I applied some of my Ruby Woo lipstick by mac , and put my hair up into a sleek bun. I had remembered before leaving class yesterday that one of my friends here , named Amber wanted me to go shopping with her for something to wear to a party that I doubt i'll even be attending .
After grabbing my stuff , I left my dorm room . I walked down the hall about to knock on Amber's door when she opened it. She had on some leather jogger sweats ,a white crop top with blue hearts , and her gammas . Her hair was braided in two french braids , while her baby hairs were doing their on thing. Amber was a short light skinned girl , who knew what she wanted and went for it . That's why I called her my little go getta. She was born and raised in New York , but she said she wanted a fresh start so she moved to Florida to start over and get away from the drama.
" You ready girl" ? , she asked looking up at me
" Yes bitch , let's go " , I said grabbing her hand . "Who you tryna impress , puttin' on this lipstick hoe ?" , she asked me as we made our way outside the building.
I shook my head laughing . " Nobody bae , you know i'm yours and your's only.
"Mhm you lil thot quit lying" . I just waved her off as we got closer to her car .
