It was dark when I came to. I could see stars. They were bright and twinkling, many light years away. I could see the outlines of tall towering trees around me, reaching up to the heavens. I could feel the soft grass tickling my back. I tried to sit up, but my head exploded in pain. I cried out. My voice sounded strange, like a cat in a blender. I summoned up enough strength to sit up, and looked around, not really comprehending what I was seeing. Around me where three other bodies, but they looked strange, unnatural. I tried to stand, but my legs gave way. I cried out once again. My eyes were still adjusting to the darkness of the woods. I could just barely make out some of the details of the bodies closest to mine. To my right, he was y'all, as far as I could tell, his hair was light, and he had some large mass expanding from his back. To my left, was a girl, she was about average height, with dark hair cut about to her shoulders, and dark skin. Just beyond her laid another body. I tried again to stand up, a sharp pain ran through my head, but I didn't fall, I regained my balance and cautiously approached the boy. I stood over him, stooped down, and shook him ever so lightly. His eyes shot open. Beautiful blue eyes stared up at me. Then he started to scream. His screams woke the other two bodies.
"Ssh, It's okay," I was said at almost a whisper. "It's alright I'm not going to hurt you," I said.
"Where-where are we?" He stuttered.
"No idea," I mumbled, "somewhere in the middle of the woods?" He tried to sit up, I didn't stop him. The moon light shone on him, allowing me to make out some features. He was tall, well taller than me. His hair was red, almost crimson color, and his eyes where as blue as sapphires.
"I'm Oliver," he said, "I think, I don't really remember anything."
"Huh, that makes two of us then," I said with a chuckle. I thought for a moment, trying to remember my own name. "I'm Max" I said and extended a hand which he took as I helped him to his feet.
"And I'm bloody confused," a voice piped up. It was one of the other bodies, the girl.  She was helping up the other person. They made their way over to us. The girl who had spoken was short. She had brown hair that was sticking up in odd angles and was shoulder length. Her eyes match her hair, dark and wild. The other person was taller than the girl. They had silver hair that looked like it had been sheared off. I couldn't see their eyes.
"Mal," the girl stated, she was stern spoken and had a heavy accent. The other person didn't say anything just nodded, as if only to confirm their existence.
"Now," Mal piped up, "Wha'd you say we make our way back to civilization?"
