Confessing; it's hard to do.
Especially if I am confessing to you.
I am afraid of the consequences,
Also afraid of crossing fences.
I dont want to ruin what we have.
I also don't want my heart be broken in half.
Please hear me out
Hear what my heart is shouting out loud.
You're the one that I adore,
Because you're all that I can ask for.
You're the one that I hold dear,
That's why I always want you near.
I love you, I do.
But it doesn't mean that you will love me too.
I will endure the pain,
The pain in my heart that you have nearly slain.
I miss you, I do.
When I'm not talking to you,
I feel askew.
But when I do talk to you,
I feel brand-new.
I may not be perfect to you,
But I assure you that I am always here for you to turn to.
I am always here by your side,
Especially when you're feeling empty inside.
So, don't let it interfere,
My true feelings for you.
Because I truly do fear
That when I confess to you,
You will go away and steer.
I am afraid of what will happen,
So I will probably refrain from confessing then.
But, until that day comes,
I will be contented with what you treat me as.
But, I only have one more statement to say:
I love you with all of my heart, no matter what "label" you give to our relationship. Friends or not, remember what I truly feel for you.
