Coffee

Dear diary,

I was walking to the coffee shop one day and decided to sit down, drink some coffee and lastly, forget about the worries in my life.
Alex's POV
"Hello, may I order a pumpkin spice latte?", the lady nods, "What is your name mam?", "My name is Alex", the lady nods once again and makes my coffee. She hands me my coffee with my name on it. Once again, she spelled my name wrong "Ugh, I told her it was A L E X not A L L I X", I sigh and walk out of the coffee shop while using my phone. Then I accidentally bumped into someone. We both realized what happened and apologized.

BJ's POV
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I can buy you a new one", The woman in front of me chuckled and nods. We both went back to the coffee shop and gave her what she needed. As I was about to leave, I felt a hand grab my shoulder. It was the lady, "Hey, my name is Alex, do you wanna hang out sometime?" I smiled and nodded to her decision. We went separate ways. As I arrived home and smiled that I made a friend.

No one's POV
Everyday, Alex and Bj would usually hang out at the coffee shop, the park or even their own houses. They were friend for about a year. Then they started to have feelings for each other, so what BJ did, he brought Alex to the park. They were sitting on the bench watching the other people who came to the park. BJ broke the silence and said, "Hey Alex, I-I wanted to tell y-you something", He stuttered because of nervousness, "What do you want to tell me?" Alex asked while she wondered why BJ was stuttering all of a sudden. "I-I just wanted to tell you t-that...I love you, c-can you be m-my...girlfriend?" Alex was surprised to the sudden question of BJ and felt something tugging her heart strings, "BJ, I had the same feelings too, and yes I will be your girlfriend" BJ jumped in excitement and the same thing with Alex. After this, they started dating for two years, they were happy, until this happened...

Time skip to 2 years later

BJ's POV
I groaned in boredom and wondered why Alex wasn't answering my call and texts. After about 30 minutes, which seemed like forever to me. She answered my text and apologized because she had to go to the doctor, I said to myself, "Why on Earth does she always meet up with this 'doctor' that she speaks of, I have this weird feeling that she is cheating on me" Since it was late, I just went to sleep and deal with this tomorrow.

The next day

Still BJ's POV
I didn't bother to talk to her because of what I thought about yesterday, then after a few minutes I hear a ton of texts and missed calls from Alex. I didn't dare to answer because jealousy got the best to me. I then see a text saying "What is going on? I'm going to your house, BJ" I made a slight sigh and waited for Alex to arrive.

Both POVs
Alex arrived at BJ's house. She knocked on the door as if she was raging, then BJ opened the door to let her in. "What on Earth is up with you??", said Alex slightly worried "What is up with you and that 'doctor' you're always talking to?", BJ said angrily "What on Earth are you talking about?! He's my-", Alex was cut off by BJ "WOAH WOAH, he is your boyfriend isn't he?! Are you cheating on me?!", after hearing these words, Alex slapped BJ and cried while running away. BJ decided to meet this doctor himself tomorrow.

Time skip tomorrow at the doctor's house
BJ's POV
I hurriedly ran down the stair to get ready and visit this 'doctor' that Alex was always hanging out with. I went into my car and started it then went to the address of his house since it was Saturday. As I arrived, I knocked on the door and asked him if we could discuss some thing about Alex. He had a confused look on his face but still let me in his house.

Both POVs
"Hello sir, what would you want to discuss about Alex?", said the doctor "First, I want to know your name please" "I am Dr. Leonardo Sarmiento but you can just call me 'Leo'" "Okay, Leo, are you dating my girlfriend?!", said BJ in a slightly angry voice "Of course not!", said Leo, surprised at the question "Then why does she always visit you?!", BJ said while getting a little bit hot headed "Are you crazy?! I am her cousin, haven't you heard that she is diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer?!", Leo replied shocked to know that BJ didn't know. BJ stayed quiet for a few seconds, you can tell by his face that he did something wrong "So this is why she was feeling weak...", BJ said as he shed a tear " Here are the papers about her condition, and she told me to show her this diary", said Leo while handing out the things. BJ read the papers then the diary very carefully "So she had this condition for a long time and she didn't tell me?", asked BJ with worry in his eyes "She said she didn't want you to worry", after hearing these words, BJ apologized and left with tears in his eyes.

Time skip to tomorrow
No one's POV
BJ was worrying that Alex wasn't answering his calls and texts. Then a few minutes later, Alex's mother called BJ and said, "BJ, Alex couldn't answer at the moment because she is having her chemotherapy and she is feeling weak, she almost died a while ago because of how weak she was" "I hope she will be okay, I will pray for your daughter", said BJ on the edge of crying, then Alex's mother put down the phone. As BJ heard those words, he started to cry and prayed to apologize for the idiotic things that he has done to Alex. A few minutes have past and Alex's mother called BJ once again, "BJ...", she said with sadness in her voice "Hello?! What happened to Alex?! Is she fine?!", said BJ with a worried face "My baby...she's gone", both Alex's mom and BJ put down the phone. BJ went to the corner of his room sobbing because the last thing that happened to them was a fight and he didn't even say 'I love you' and 'goodbye' to her.

Time skip to the next day at Alex's grave
BJ's POV
As BJ arrived to the cemetery, he placed the flowers that he bought for Alex on her grave and hugged it while crying "I'm so sorry that you are gone, I wished that I could've seen you one last time", said BJ as he cried. After he stayed at Alex's grave, he decided to leave "I will always love you", he said after leaving while looking back at Alex's grave. He arrived back home to cry and days passed by. He always had a picture of Alex on his bedside table and looked at it everyday.
