Chapter 2 A Surprise

Mr Tomlinson's POV

As I was walking down the street, I saw a girl. She looked familiar... She had a dirty blonde hair with red dye streaks somewhere at the back of her hair, she had an icy sea blue eyes, and she had that knife slice which was completely gone but I can still see it on her arm...

Wait... is she.... Louisa Anne Garcia?!?! As in the young 10 year old I saved?!?!

When I save her she is a 10 year old girl with an abusive father. Since it has been two years she is probably 12 years old by now.

I stood in front of her.

"Mr...Tomlinson?" she asked me.

"Yes. And hello Chloe." I said to her.

"What brings you here?" she asked me again.

I was about to say something like 'Oh nothing...just buying groceries for my family.' when I heard myself saying "I am going to adopt you."

Seriously... why would a chief of police would adopt a girl he saved 2 years ago?

She dangled her mouth wide open nearly dropped her books.

"Did I hear correctly?" she asked me yet again.

"Yes." I said to her.

Then she retreat back in the library and left the books on the counter.

"Let's go." she said to me.

We approach the orphanage.

"Go pack and I'll be here okay?" I told her.

She nodded.

Chloe's POV

Oh my God...

Mr. Tomlinson is adopting me?! Finally after 2 years of my life stuck in this orphanage I am finally getting adopted!!

I wore a red sleeveless top ,a black pants and a 3 inch high heel shoes.

I slid my music iPod in the pocket of my top.

It took me 30 mins. to pack my stuff. I hope Mr. Tomlinson is still there.
