In the Dark.. {A BNHA x Reader Story}

1. (Y/N)'s first friend!

~Flashback~

"Mommy, why can't I go outside?" A five year old (Y/N) asked. "Well honey, the world is a dangerous place, and we just don't want you to get hurt." Her mother, (M/N), said slowly so her daughter could understand.

"Oh..." (Y/N) said sadly, looking outside of her living room window at the park. Suddenly, (Y/N)'s parents got a call. The Pro Heroes said to their daughter, "We will be right back, okay? Stay inside. Your brother is upstairs practicing martial arts."

Her parents quickly ran out of the door, and little (Y/N) watched them drive away. The young girl could hear her brothers music from upstairs. 'Why does he need music when he does Martial Arts?' She thought.

'Maybe since his music is so loud, he won't hear the door open and close...' (Y/N) thought to herself, and she quickly ran to the kitchen to grab a couple apples. She then ran to the front door, but saw it was locked.

(Y/N) whined, but then remembered that she could grab a chair and unlock the door. She grabbed a chair, stood it up by the door, and unlatched the lock. (Y/N) then opened the door, walked out, and closed the door.

"Woah!!" (Y/N) gasped at the outside world in wonder. She then ran to the park with her short legs moving a mile an hour. (If you couldn't tell, I was exaggerating the mile an hour thing..)

She reached the park sooner than she expected, and saw a little boy with green hair crying on the ground. She felt bad, and wanted to make friends, so she ran up to him.

"Hey...are you alright?" She asked the little boy. He looked up at her with a shocked face as tears fell down his face. "Y-Yeah I'm f-fine.." the little boy lied to her.

"Well.." (Y/N) started, "I think you're lying!" She finished with a sweet smile. The boy looked up at her with wide eyes as she reached her hand down for him to grab. The little boy smiled slightly, and grabbed her hand. A sudden blush exploded across his face as he started to stutter.

(Y/N) giggled slightly. "Would you like an apple?" She asked, grabbing one from her pocket. "O-Oh! S-Sure! T-Thank you by the way..." he said while the apple was placed in his hand. "No problem!!" (Y/N) said with a little shrug and a smile. "My name is (Y/N) by the way! (Y/N) (L/N)! What's yours?" She asked curiously.

"O-Oh! My name i-is Izuku Midoriya! It's a pleasure to meet you!" He said with a sweet close eyed smile. (Y/N) felt her cheeks heat up, and her eyes widened. "I MUST PROTECT YOU!!" She suddenly shouted.

Izuku looked startled by the sudden shout, but giggled slightly after. (Y/N) smiled at the boy, and suddenly asked, "Do you want to be my first friend?"

Saying Izuku was honored, was an understatement. He literally tested up and put a hand to his heart. "I'd love to!!" He said with tears of joy running down his face. "YAY!! Let's go play!!" (Y/N) shouted with an adorable smile as she grabbed his hand and ran to the swings with him.

It was now well past 6:00 pm, and (Y/N)'s parent have been looking all over for their daughter. They yelled at their eldest for not taking proper care of the youngest. They looked everywhere, except the park. "Wait a second!!" (F/N) suddenly shouted. "We didn't check the park!!"

(Y/N) and Izuku were playing tag now, having not one worry in the world. They have been playing together since 2:30 pm, and they really enjoy each others company. They were laughing and running and jumping and just having fun.

(Y/N)'s parents got to the park, only to see their only daughter playing and having a good time. They 'awed' and cooed at their daughter and her new friend from a distance, while also keeping watch for villains.

"Hey Izuku, what do you wanna do next?" (Y/N) asked. "It's actually getting dark, maybe we should go home...do you wanna meet up here again tomorrow?" Izuku asked. "I'd love to!!" The young girl exclaimed.

As Izuku started walking home, the young girl shouted a 'Bye Izuku!', and started walking home herself. She started to hum to herself. She reached home in a matter of minutes, and walked inside.

She ran to her room, and jumped into her bed. She smiled to herself, but then frowned. She felt bad for disobeying her parents rules about going outside, but she also felt good about it.

Her parents walked home slowly, smiling slightly. "(F/N), she has a friend, and her friend is a boy nonetheless!!" (M/N) said laughing. (F/N) just grumbled to himself, and walked faster.

As the parents reached their home, they heard their daughter's laughs and giggles. Their eyes widened, and they ran inside. It was unusual for their daughter to laugh so loudly, so something had to be up.

What they saw surprised them, and (M/N) nearly fainted. A male with HUGE muscles, yellow/golden hair, and a bright big smile stood in front of their daughter.

"Toshinori! What might you be doing here?!" (F/N) asked with a smile, after all, All Might was his best friend since they both were children.

"Ah! (F/N)! Good to see you! I saw that the window was open, and I decided to come in!" All Might laughed. "Sorry if you didn't want me here, I just wanted to meet your daughter!"

"Oh, okay! Well, Toshinori, this is my daughter (Y/N). She is five years old." (F/N) said proudly. "Well (F/N), she is an adorable child. I wish I had a child.." Toshinori sulked.

"You'll have kids someday, Toshinori. I'm sure if it." (F/N) said and (M/N) nodded her head in agreement.

"It's nice to meet you, Mr. All Might!" Little (Y/N) said sweetly as she stuck her hand out for him to shake. Toshinori smiles even brighter and grabbed her hand gently, and shaking it gently also.

"It's nice to meet you too, Young (Y/N)! Someday, you'll be a great hero! I can just tell." All Might said, and left through (Y/N)'s window.

~End Flashback~

'Well, those were some good times..' (Y/N) though as she readied herself for her first day of UA High.
