I wish I was a burning building,
Filled with gray-black smoke.
Everyone would see me rise to power,
Not treat me as a joke.
I wish I was a burning building,
Claiming everything in my path.
Both old and young alike,
Would look upon my wrath.
I wish I was a burning building,
Destroying hopes and dreams,
Hoping that eventually,
I'd forget the chilling screams.
I wish I was a burning building,
Suffocating innocent lungs,
They cough and sputter but can't escape,
The poison on their tongues.
I wish I was a burning building,
An unexplainable inferno,
Leaving ash and dust in my wake,
And room for people to grow.
I wish I was a burning building,
Living life for only minutes,
Setting the world aflame sounds fun,
Would you like to come with us?
