Payton's POV

I have not talked to Cameron since that night which was a week ago. I am now living in a motel room. Josie told me I could stay with her but I told her I needed some time to myself. Josie and I went to get coffee together to catch up as I was I walking in Josie and I were having a conversation and I was not paying attention and ran right into someone causing me to fall. I look up and see that it was Cameron. Our eyes met but I looked away. He offered me his hand and he pulled me right up.

"Hey Payton...Do you want to get some coffee with me?" He asked sweetly. "Sorry I am with my friend." I said trying not to make it sound rude. "Okay but can we please talk outside for a bit." He asked. I looked at Josie and she winked at me. Then I looked at Cameron and I nodded. We walked out to the parking lot in silence. He walked me to his car and opened the door for me I hopped in and than he came in a few seconds later. "Payton that girl that came to the door is not my girlfriend. She is my ex girlfriend and we broke up because I made a mistake." He told me. "She thinks that you guys are together." I said. "She said that because she hates me and if she sees a girl at my house she gets jealous and she told you things that are not even true. Please Payton you have to believe me." He said.

"Okay...I believe you."I said.

Cameron's POV

"Would you come back and live with Nash? We miss you." I said. "I would love to." She said running her fingers through her hair. I smiled at her and could not help but feel happy. "What about us?" I asked her. "I can't be more than friends...yet. I still need some time." She said giving me a smile.

She moved in the next day and I had missed having her staying with us. I helped her unpack and while we were unpacking we talked like we used to and it felt like we were back to normal. She told me about her family well her only family left was her brother which he was in the army. You could tell she missed him very much.
