Chapter 2 - Get Out of My Head

I was jogging on the beach of Clearwater as I saw Punk running towards me, then jogging with me

"Ugh, Punk! What do you want? This is my alone time." I pulled my headphones out, annoyed that he had followed me.

"I'm bored. I have nothing to do today besides train rookies at NXT, and that's fuckin boring." Punk smirked, "So I decided to annoy you today."

"Well, do it later, will ya? I'm trying to jog here!" I snapped as I jogged faster

"No can do, miss April!" He smiled as he followed me

"Stalker." I huffed as I slowed down, panting softly

"You get winded easily." He snickers in amusement

"Yeah- so what?" I mumbled

"It's cute." He smiled as he walked off

"Did he.. Did he just call me cute?" I raised an eyebrow as I talked to myself

"Hey lady! Heads up!" A guy yelled

The ball missed my head by inches as I sighed

I grabbed it and threw it back

"Thank you!" He yelled

"There's your ball, asshole." I mumbled under my breath as I continued my jog.

"Cute? I'm not cute." I grumbled as I stepped inside my apartment, seeing Kaitlyn sitting on the couch

"Any reason to why Punk is asking me about you?" Kaitlyn raised an eyebrow, snickering

"Hell if I know. He called me cute at the beach when I got winded, jogging." I mumbled, blushing a little

"Aww! He likes you!" Kaitlyn smiled at me

"Doubt it. He's a player and a cheater." I huffed, taking a gulp of my water before continuing breathlessly, "Besides- if he did, I wouldn't pay any attention to him. I don't want a relationship, I don't want sex, I don't want cuddles, I don't want kisses, I don't want-"

"I get it!" Kaitlyn rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Give him a chance dude."

I sigh, "Fine. I will."

"Good." She smirked as she ate chips- my chips

"I'm going to bed." I grumbled as I walked away

"Night!" She yelled at me

"Night Kait'!" I mumbled as I fell onto my bed, falling asleep
