Author note: Hello! Hope this story will be good. It's the first time writing a story for a pair. I'm used to writing my own characters so I'm not sure how well I'll be able to portray everyone. Please have patience with me. I like stinglu because I feel they're compatible, like more than with others, but that's just my opinion~ in any case, enjoy! Feedback is also appreciated~☆

Also, all images in the story are/will be made by me~

--------------------------------------------------------------

The sky was clear that night and it was quiet. Maybe only the town nearby was brimming with noise.

Suddenly, a star fell into the ocean. Everyone saw it. It became the point of attention, as everyone got curious about it.

But soon enough it was proven it was not a fallen star, but a dragon. A dragon that was larger than Acnologia and looked even more scary in his beauty. His scales were black and had sparkling tiny lights on his scales that replicated the starry sky.

The dragon rose from the sea, water lingering down and away from its body, and took flight all the way into the mountains, passing over the town, where into the light, everyone saw it fly over them. A chill ran down their spines, fearing it might be a bad omen. After all, in this world's history, dragons weren't regarded very greatly.

--------------------------------------------------------------

From there word spread fast, all the way to Fiore. After what happened with Zeref and the dragons, they could not allow another calamity to happen.

The king himself requested that a group of mages is gathered and deal with the creature before it can destroy anything.

The guild masters gathered and selected who will go. As the master of Sabertooth, Sting requested personally to go along with Rogue. Of course, as dragon slayers, it was an obvious choice. Everyone agreed on it, that the dragon slayers should be the ones to go. But an additional team would be added, as support. Once selected, each master went home to their guild to give out the news.

In Fairy Tail, Laxus was master now. He had long past understood the meaning of a guild and the people in it, so Makarov had entrusted him the guild's future. He was a more serious master, and while he enjoyed the guild's pace, he made sure nobody went overboard.
He announced the rest that they will be going with the people he selected.
Natsu and Gajeel were excited to go. They would have the chance to prove themselves against a dragon.

The dragon slayers would go. Additionally, Erza, Gray, Juvia, Lucy, Freed and Levy would join. Freed and Levy's rune writing might help trap the dragon while the rest could back them up with magic. The rest were ordered to take care of the town and guild.

Once everyone was ready, they went by train to meet up the rest to the site where the dragon was last spotted. Needless to say that Natsu was the most affected by the ride, while the rest tried their best to hold it in, with the help of Wendy's magic.

Once arrived, they met up with the rest of the team. Honourable mentions were Jura, Lyon, Cheria, Ichiya, Kagura and, of course, the Twin Dragons and their Exceeds, followed by Minerva as well. Minerva's past was dark, but she had redeemed herself for quite a while now and she was trying, just like her guildmates, to redeem herself of her wrongdoings. Lucy had forgiven her long ago and was glad to see her change.

She was also glad for Sting and Rogue. They had changed too since last time. Rogue was serious before, but he seemed more relaxed now around others and by conversing with them; it was almost friendly. Guess he was really trying to be a proper dragon slayer, still holding admiration for Gajeel, even if he would not publicly admit it.

Sting, usually acting like a dork, showed nothing of that side to him now. He was really acting well in his role as Master of Sabertooth. That could make her almost skip a beat when thinking of him as being so responsible and mature.

But what was she thinking, this was no time for having crushes, they were about to fight a real dragon, she had to focus. From her experience with them, it would be no easy of a fight. But she was confident she would be able to provide good support for the dragon slayers. These past few years have made her skills bloom. She could really be considered close to an accomplished Stellar mage.

After greeting eachother, they went into the vast woods, in search for the dragon. But they were all underestimating the dragon's power, as it was not like any dragon that they had previously dealt with.

To be continued.

Author note: This is it for the first part! Hope I can write the next one soon~ feedback is much appreciated. The love story will be developed slowly between the two, do not worry~ As for the support team...to be honest I picked at random >\\\< I hope I can make use of their magic and integrate it properly.
