Someone told me
Stay away from things
That aren't yours
But was it yours, if it
Wanted me so bad?
Pacify her,
She getting on my nerves
You don't love her
Stop lying with those words
I can't stand

They were down to the last minute. The Ryder's family were down by twenty points while the Summers family had a total of thirty-six points.
Every activity that was thrown upon Emilya, she excelled in it. Her and her brother made an unstoppable tag team. They were now about to end the game of volleyball on a high note. Orlena and Nile scored their family four more points. Emilya and Zain received nine points.
"Just give up already, even if you do take the last minute, you're still not going to defeat us," Nora stated from across the field.
"Never!" Orlena exclaimed before serving.
And in a blink of eye the ball came right back over the net and touched the ground.
Bet you didn't see that one coming, Emilya thought as she began to fix the grabber that was holding her hair together.
The Ryder's family groans in frustration. Emilya and Zain high-fived to their accomplishment.
The sense of being watched poked at Emilya annoyingly. Her eyes wondered and instead of finding August's lustful gawking, she found Bianca shooting glares at her.
What's her problem? She wondered as she approached the tent. The sound of someone's footsteps approaching her from behind caused her to pause. She turned only to find Bianca, arms crossed while stubbornly standing in front. The hatred look she wore made Emilya feel cautious around her.
"You know, it's funny how a few weeks after you came, August can't seem to concentrate whenever you're around," ashy hair girl commented with her arms crossed.
Emilya narrowed her eyes at her. "Hmmm, that is funny." She took a bottled water from the cooler and opened it.
Bianca scoffed. "Oh please, drop the act. We both know that something is going on between the two of you!" She exclaimed as Emilya took a few gulps before she ended up choking.
"What?" She questioned between coughs.
"Don't play dumb!" Bianca screamed in anger with her face tarnishing in a bright pink hue.
"You have no idea what you're talking about."
"I don't?" She then questions in disbelief.
"I figured as his girlfriend, you would know more about him than everybody. He hasn't told you about our past, hasn't he?" Emilya inquired.
Caught off guard by that statement, possible ideas start to flood her thoughts. "You two were lovers?" She whispered, almost sounding hurt by her own words.
Emilya's eyes widened before she broke out into a fit of laughter. When she had calmed down, she spoke, "He's four years my senior. Lovers? Far from it. Just ask him what was our childhood like."

August was still astonished that Emilya could beat him, even at his favourite sport. She defeated him with ease, she never had to try.
