Jenny's POV
I am stamding there awestruck with the present in my hands. Amelia just came, said that her father was dead, she was moving, and rushed off, not even getting her birthdy present.
What, my mind refuses to believe that her father is dead and she is moving.
I cry lot.

One day, about a week and a half after my father died, I went out of my private school, High Lake Academy seeing my mother. I am less talkative and I hardly talk unless I need to in school. It is very weird for me to see her because usually, she doesn't pick me up.
"Hey. How was school?", she asks.
I answer without a bit of enthusiasm in my voice.
" Fine.", I replied.
We don"t talk about anything else on the drive home. It was then when my mom broke the silence, at the doorstep .
"Moving, next week.", she says unlocking things the door.
I knew that this moment would come. But, it was when I stepped into the house, I realized that what she said was true.
What? I feel my mind say. Is this true or am I just dreaming?
The house was filled with boxes. Servants were running around packing some things and valuables in boxes that were labeled MOVING.
I swallow a lump in my throat and walk to my room.
How can this be happening?, I think to myself. First, my dad is dead and now we are moving? What? For real?
