This day was a big day for me. It was in the peak of marching season, and our band practices were getting longer and longer each day. Without knowing it, I had been hurting my baby this whole time, but I didnt even know he existed. The long days at band camp and dehydrating and starving myself and working out every day had been hurting him. So September 25, a lot happened. My boyfriend had already moved away, and we ending up breaking up because of the distance. But I had a new crush. His name is David, but everyone calls him DJ. In English, one of the two classes I have with him, I started cramping horribly bad. I hadn't had my period in a month but I was irregular so I didn't think anything of it. I ask the teacher to use the restroom and when I pull down my pants I see blood, and a lot of it. I dismiss it as a heavy day for my period, put on a pad, and go on wuth my day. By the time band practice came around, I felt slightly better but distracted myself by talking to DJ and that's when one of our friends told us we should date. I was taken by surprise, and DJ said "okay" and turned and asked me if I wanted to date. I thought he was joking, but I said yes anyway, and he said "okay, we're dating now." And I asked him if he was for real and he said yes and it was like a dream come true for me. However, I didn't realize until about a month later that I had had a miscarriage on the same day as my crush asked me out.
