Life seemed very simple for me before all of this. It was just me and my imagination. I lived in a very quiet suburban neighbourhood down the mountain. I have a mother, a father, and an older sister. The four of us thought that the bible was nothing but pure bullshit.

The only thing my parents and I believed in were the folklores of old. In the supernatural, as you would call it. If you didn't follow any of the warnings or the advice that the mythology had given you, in our opinion you were as good as dead. Anger any gods of any mythology and you were dead.

My sister chose not to believe in the ghost stories we thought were true. My parents were both history teachers and my sister already had her life sorted out by the time she turned 30. One day, her and I caught up for coffee.

She had long light brown hair(which also happened to match her eyes)and wore a blue buttoned shirt

We met at William's Pub by Lake Ontario on that day. "I've never seen you looked so confused, little brother. What's on your mind?" said my sister. "You know my mentor Dr. Honda?" I said. "The geneticist, yeah." said my sister. "He's offered me to go on this expedition in the forests of Japan." I said. 4 hours earlier, ever since he moved back to Japan him and I would occasionally have chats over Skype.
