Everyday we all went through the same routine, going to every class every day. Seeing the same old faces every day, but yours, yours is one that did not get old. It was that time of the year, the times to be out with your friends, the Football Games. Every Friday, the Friday night lights came on upon the 52 boys on the Varsity team of Weston Ranch. But you were the Wide Receiver, the one who got noticed by all of the great colleges. Scouts from all over came to watch Kalin White. The Captain of the Varsity Football Team. Kalin White was one of the hottest seniors at Weston Ranch, all the girls thought so. It was the biggest game of the year, against Linden High School.
This game was broadcasted, it was packed. This was the best game I had ever cheered for, it was so intense. It was the 4th quarter three minutes and 4 seconds left on the clock, it was all tied up 68 to 68, one more touchdown that's all we needed. We were on offense, the Quarterback, Anthony Rodriquez called the play, and just like then the clock began to count down.
Anthony looked for an open receiver, looking, running out of time, he found a hole to Kalin White number 12. Anthony threw the ball to Kalin, and he caught it, dodging all the defensive players on Lindens team.
The crowd began to yell "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2...".
Kalin White had done it once again crossed that line for the touchdown just in time, continuing the teams undefeated record of 5 years straight. After the game everyone went home, i turned on my TV and checked my recordings, the game was recorded. I clicked and began to watch, a picture of the MVP was shown, it was Kalin White. I remembered that face from somewhere. I began to think then it came to me, 5th period Mrs. Diston's class the huge boy who sat right next to me. That was him.
