Anna gasps, Right hand coming up to her chest, she's never gone through so many things in so short of a time period. She knew she loved kristoff, But was she ready? Did Elsa know about this? What if she didn't approve? Why did everything she think about revolve around her sister?
"Kristoff I-I..." her eyes water. All her bottled up emotions threatening to just burst. She wanted to say yes. Really she did. But could she? "D-does Elsa know about this?" She asks and then regrets it and-Rushes to explain "I just-she's away and I don't want her to have the same reaction she did last time. Not that I'm comparing this to - I. Yes. Yes I would love to marry you. I-I'm so thankful for you and everything you've brought into my life." Kristoff nods and smiles reassuring her "I asked elsa before she left, don't worry"
She pauses when kristoff interrupts her with assurance. Anna just like stops. Everything comes to a screeching halt. "S-she did? I-" she looks at the ring. She sobs and jumps into his arms. "Yes. Kristoff. A thousand. Times yes.
"Kristoff's eyes widen with surprise and a giant smile grew on his face "really!? "Anna couldn't even get the word out. She nods instead and hugs him tighter. She wasn't prepared to have so much on her plate. But she wanted to show Elsa how good of a ruler, and sister she could be. Kristoff buries his face in her neck as he let's a few tears fall and stays silent tightly embracing Anna. As terrified as she was.
Anna wasn't going to let Elsa down. She just hoped everything would be okay in the end. She pulls away from kristoff to kiss him gently. Running a hand through silky blonde tresses. It lasted about three seconds but left her winded. When they separate she rests their Foreheads together and sighs.
Kristoff whispers to his new fiance and smiles "I love you Anna" He takes Anna's left hand and slips the ring on Anna's delicate yet strong hand, The metal was cold against her warm hand. And it reminded her of what it felt like to lace her fingers with Elsa's, She shakes the thought away Feeling numb.
"I love you too kristoff." It was a quiet cry. But she swallows and lets herself smile. Tears roll down her cheeks. She looks at the ring. "It's beautiful." She all but gasps. Darker than her skin but a very nice contrast. She moves her hand at the wrist, watching the delicate piece catch the sunlight and shine.
Kristoff looks at the ring sadly and struggled as he choked tears away "it was my mother's" Anna's heart skips a beat and she didn't know what to say so instead She hugs him again and decided to change the subject.
"Thank you. Kristoff, Thank you so, so much."Anna can feel the tension in her body. And holds it. They stay like that for a while. Before all her intrusive thoughts come rushing back.
She pulls away and gently and wipes at the tears on his rosy cheeks. "You're welcome to stay here for as long as you'd like." She whispers and kisses his cheek." I'll be kinda busy these next few days,or weeks. I actually-uh have a meeting to go to soon..." she trails off nervously.
"Anna I'm not leaving you again... And if you need any help I'm here and you have my assistance " He stands proudly giving Anna a playful lookAnna chuckles and ruffles his hair. "Thank you." She says matching his lopsided smile.
She catches kai standing by the door. And rolls her eyes playfully. "I'll let you know if I need anything. And if I'm free for lunch I'd love to spend it with you." She says then slowly walking backwards towards the large double doors. "Thanks again." With that, she blows him a kiss and runs to Elsa's office. Kristoff returns to the stable to tell Sven and Olaf the good news
