"So who can tell me-"

"I can!" I quickly raised my hand, already knowing what Ms. Lewis would ask.

"Besides Y/N," She gave me a playful glare. "who can tell me what is the word used to describe a narrowing of the spine."

I kept my hand up, knowing that nobody else would know-

"Spinal stenosis. Pressures the nerves, occurs mainly on the lower back and neck."

Well except Kim Namjoon.

I groaned turning around and facing him as he sat in a relaxed manner in the back of the class.

"I thought you weren't here!"

"I'm always here princess." He winked , causing me to openly gag and the class to have a mixture of laughter and groans.

"When will this class end?" Was heard.

"Anyway...that's correct! Thanks Namjoon." Ms. Lewis smiled brightly and it was obviously a fake smile.

Then the class rang. I held back my annoyance as I packed my things and walked out.

I turned around just in time to see Namjoon grabbing a girl's wrist and giving her a flirty smile once she turned around. She giggled in return and playfully rolled her eyes.

Again, gag.

"And then he just answered! Without even raising his hand might I add." My saltiness made my sandwich even saltier.

"Okay well even though I have Ms. Lewis on a different day, I'm pretty sure her rule of 'openly speaking because raising your hand is society's way of keeping our voice restrained' applies to all her classes." Jessica explained slowly, making sure I would understand her irrelevant point.

I nodded. "He's just annoying."  I stated as Jessica agreed.

"I'm sure we're the only girls in this school who find him annoying though." She directed her eyes towards him, causing me to turn around.

He sat there his own sandwich being completely untouched as he focused on the girl on his lap. A different girl from the one he was flirting with after class, which only caused me to shake my head.

"How do all these girls know he has never -and never will- have a girlfriend and still decide to stick around and be played with?"  I spoke in disgust, turning around toward Jessica who stayed quite and slowly nodded in agreement.

At least me and Jessica are smarter than that. We know better than to fall for such a disgusting excuse of a person with a pile of shit for a heart and brain.

Okay maybe not brain he is undeniably smart.

The bell rang so me and Jessica began walking with our trays. The clashing  snapped my head towards my best friens as she stared down at her now stained shirt.

"Oh... Oops?" Jane stared down at Jessica with a smirk now evident on her face. "Well with those clothes... I did you a favor." She then proceeded to add.

"Aw hell nah!" I let out before Jessica could even open her mouth. Jane's attention was now on me, she then rolled her eyes once she realized it was me.

"Y/N," she took a step towards me. "You should tell your little friend to be more careful. She got in my way."

"Yeah but I don't blame her for not seeing you, since you're so irrelevant you're almost non-existent." I shrugged.

"What did you say bitch?!" She took another step towards me.

I laughed sarcastically. "I don't remember stuttering. Maybe you should be less worried about wasting my time and be more worried about your hearing."

"Ladies..."

The voice made me groan.

"Can we go one week where you two aren't fighting?" Namjoon approached the scene.

"Well babe she's acting like she's something when she's nothing." Jane went ahead and wrapped her arms around Namjoon's waist, looking at me with a hateful smirk the whole time. Acting like her and Namjoon are a couple.

Pathetic.

Just like the other girls.

Wow. Not only deaf but also stupid.

I couldn't help but shrug once again, her words sliding right off me. "Rather be nothing than basic." I looked at her dead in the eyes. The people now sorrounding us  -who had nothing better to do- let out a lot of daring noises in response to my comment.

But I just ignored them.

"Jessica let's go..."

That's when I realized that Jessica was gone.

But red alarms did not start blaring in my head until I realized

Namjoon was gone too.
