I walked in front of Kid Darkness and smirked. He did his dance and backed up. I did an ariel followed by a series of flips and began to dance. The crowde went wild, I won. I climbed into my car and drove to Encore.
I changed into sweats, a tight fitting crop top, and my old converse. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and started getting my dancers warmed up. After a bit I had everyone go against the wall. I turned on "Turn Me On" by Nicki Minaj. I did a spin with on leg bent followed by several middle class moves and kicked the dance up a notch. I did a jump split followed by a drp roll, reach bach bend up, several spins, and held my leg straight in front of me and spun. I finished and broke down the dance for my class.
Kid Darkness POV
I asked around and discovered the girl who beat me name was Kathlyn. I also discovered she works at Encore. I got in my car and drove to the Samurai crew house. I found Julian talking to Natalie.
"Julian, there was a girl in the park. She beat me, she was amazing. I think I found our secret weapon."
Kat POV [Everyone calls her Kat]
After rehersals I grabbed my paycheck and gave it to Luke and went to bed.
NEXT DAY
I jumped into the crowde and began to dance while Luke filmed. I stopped dancing when I saw a kid beat Kid Darkness. He was being chased by cops. I grabbed his arm and ran with Luke right behind us. I grabbed the metal bar over the hot dug cart and swung through, I rolled and watched as Luke did the same as Curly ran around, we stopped in the ally.
"I'm Alexander, but my friends call me Moose." Curly explained.
"Luke." my brother said.
"Kathlyn but my friends call me Kat." Luke went to the wall.
"Who was that?" Moose asked.
"That was Kid Darkness, if you thought that was tough. You shood see the World Jam." Luke said, handing Moose a flier. We got in Luke's car and drove to the Vault. We got in the elevator and went up to the Vault. I let Luke take him and went in my room and got changed into: ripped skinny jeans, a tanktop, and my signature Nikes. I got in the lift with Jason and Vladd and went down to the Club. I danced my way to the Santiago twins. We heard Moose yell and turned. He fell on the floor and in came the Samurai. I pushed my way through the crowde to the front lines. I pushed Moose to Luke and some girl. Vladd, Jason, Allana, and I faced the Samurai with the rest of the Pirates behind us.
"What the hell do you want?" I asked. I watched as Kid Darkness led Julian to the front.
"That's her." Kid Darkness said gesturing to me. Julian stepped forward.
"Your wimp battled us once you battle us twice." he explained.
"I'll take his place I won once already." I flipped backwards as Vladd and Jason got ready. I did an ariel followed by another flip to Jason and Vladd. I pushed my self up held my hands on their shouldars. They grabbed my forearm as I flipped into a handstand on their shouldars and fell into the twins arms. Vladd and Jason moved as the twins vaulted me in front of a Samurai. I put my hands against his chest and flipped backwards running over his body in the process. I landed in the splits in front of my crew. We had won the battle. The Samuari didn't even have to dance.
We closed the club and went to bed.
The NEXT DAY
I got up and heard music from teh boom box room. I slid into some low riding sweats, a tank top, and some Nikes. I threw my hair in a fan as I walked towards the boom box room.
There was Natalie from last night dancing. I clapped when she was done. She spun around. I nodded and had her move to the side as I changed the station. "Where Have You Been" by Rihanna came on.I began to dance. To finish I did an ariel.
I let Natalie continue dancing giving her pointers here and there. We were soon accompanied by Luke. We decided it's time to train the newbie. We went to the roof and I did the course I was ahead of both of them. I finished a full minute before them. I texted Moose.
Look left. Far left. It's time to train.
I saw him look at us. Luke lifted up his shirt and Natalie and I slapped him. We watched Moose leave class and then join us at the enterance to NYU.
"What's up?" he asked.
"We need to train. We have to prepare for the battle next week." I murmured jogging back to the Vault.
