this chapter is just kind of a prologue thing where u can be able to know the main character of the story. unfortunately, there'll be no wanna one on this chapter but they'll start appearing on the second chapter :)

A L P H A S T A T I O N
ELEVEN YEARS AGO

"I read a book once—"

"Since when were you not reading Elora?" The ten year old boy chuckled at Elora making her frown and hit him lightly on his shoulder, making him let out an exaggerated grunt in pain.

"Oh please, Kibum just hear me out alright?" She said as she rolled her eyes in the process. "It's about the earthlings."

"You mean the people who live on planet earth?" Kibum responded, now interested on what the seven year old was saying.

"Yes!" The girl beamed with a smile, sitting more comfortably on the floor to get ready with her storytelling. "I read that hundreds of years ago, a thing destroyed the earth. The radiation became higher making it uninhabitable. However, our ancestors managed to build this Alpha Station several years before the nuclear thing hit the earth."

"I know that already," He rolled his eyes making her hit his hand. "Earthlings are just myths."

"No there's more!" She exclaimed. "However, some people who lived down there managed to survive. I don't know what reason but! That just means that we can live in the planet earth. I mean, there are people there like us."

Kibum didn't know what to respond. Elora read too much books that he sometimes has no idea where she gets those books from. She was too much of a bookworm for a nine year old but again, he couldn't stop his best friend from doing so since they don't do much in the space station.

"Really? That's interes—"

"Hey kids,"

The two looked at the metal door where Elora's mom were standing by, her arms folded infront of her. She plastered a warm smile as she sauntered towards the two.

"What are you guys talking about?" She questioned, sitting between them.

"Mrs. Oh, she's talking about the earth again." Kibum said, looking so exhausted, making the two chuckle.

"Yes mom, that is in fact true." Elora squinted her eyes at Kibum who stuck his tongue out playfully at her. "Earthlings are real and we can live on earth!"

Her mother chuckled at her story. She ruffled her hair playfully and said, "As much as I want to tell you that it's real, I'm afraid it has always been a myth. Hundreds of years ago, no one survived on the catastrophe that happened and that only means that the radia—"

"Oh please mother," Elora argued, yanking out of her grasp. "it was true that there were earthlings."

"The only survivable planet that the higher ups have discovered is Mars and planet EXTO, believe it or not." Her mother informed, trying to pry Elora's mind out of the topic.

"Yes, and it's the first time that we have discovered a planet that's occupied by extraterrestrial beings." Kibum continued. He loved the idea of aliens. Although it seemed impossible, the fact that his father works in the travel station, he gets to know the latest updates concerning their adventure on finding a safe place for them spacegens to dwell into.
