It flows and feels as if a lace of velvet,
how it reflects an illusion that blinds,
how deeply mysterious it hides its secrets...
I wonder how long it takes to hit the seabed,
while drowning I feel a lace of seaweed,
which as gentle as a rose petal it wraps around me,
I don't strangle to get free instead a gush of water ice cold hits me,
the lace of seaweed breaks...
Leaving me to drown while it floats up without me...
As I hit the seabed soft and sandy...
I feel as if I'm sinking into quick sand,
I reach out my hand hoping someone would pull me out,
I was wrong...
I hear the sea whispering in it's darkness...
I'm alone... I whisper as I fade away...
