Arguments and Thunders

Today Soonyoung's parents were arguing again. They kept arguing about money and some something else that he couldn't hear. As soon as he started to hear louder yells from the argument his his only calming song finished he felt tears form and he grabbed a sweater and he opened his window and jumped out. Landing perfectly he ran to the only person he trusted. As he ran he would hear the thunder rumble above him. He felt a lot of tears flow down to his cheek. This didn't stop him though, he kept running to his designated location. As soon as he saw the familiar tan apartment he ran to the door and knocked softly, not having the energy to knock loudly. He felt his arms start to shiver and when a lightning strikes near by he felt his entire body shake in fear.

You are probably wondering why he didn't just stay home. The answer to that is simple, he would rather be out in the rain rather than hearing his parents break things and argue loudly. He never told his parents that he hated hearing them argue because he knew that that would most definitely start an argument again. He also never told his parents about his Astraphobia, meaning fear of thunder and lightning, he never told them because it was something he developed recently and he wanted to keep it a secret from everyone which he did. The song "Instagram by DEAN" would for some reason calm him down when his parents would argue, but this time around it didn't and that scared him even more. He tried everything before finding the song and non seemed to work, so when "Instagram" stopped helping him he would extremely scared. (Back to the story)

Soonyoung kept shivering even after he hear the assuring voice of Mingyu yell "Coming" from behind the door. When the door opened he slowly moved his face up to make eye contact with his boyfriend. Before Soonyoung looked up Mingyu quickly noticed that he was shaking and soaking wet. Then when Soonyoung looked up he noticed the tears falling from his eyes to his soft red cheek. That admittedly made him feel a sharp pain in his chest. "Mingyu..." He heard Soonyoung whisper between tears. Soonyoung's voice sounded so broken and that hurt Mingyu even more. Mingyu wrapped his arms around Soonyoung and he pulled Soonyoung into his apartment making sure to lock the door behind them. Mingyu kept a tight hold on Soonyoung. He soon felt some thing wet of his shoulder he looked down and he saw Soonyoung face buried in his chest. Mingyu started to pat his head gently. The thunder kept rumbling and soon the lights started to flick. After the 3rd flick the light completely turned off and a loud thunder stroke near by. Soonyoung whimpered a bit and he hugged Mingyu tightly. "Hey, let's go to my bed." Mingyu wispered softly to Soonyoung. When Soonyoung nodded a bit he started to lead him to his bed. Mingyu sat down on his bed and he pulled Soonyoung down with him. Another loud Thunder strikes near. "M-mingyu...I'm sc-scared" Soonyoung says as he hugs Mingyu. " It's ok, I'm here." Mingyu said as he wrapped the blanket over them. He moved back a bit and he layed down. After a while Soonyoung layed with him. Mingyu wrapped his arms around Soonyoung's waist, pulling him closer. Soonyoung grabbed one on Mingyu's hand and he held it tightly with both of his hands. As another loud Thunder strikes Soonyoung starts to shake again.
