My eyes open in the middle of the night due to the amazing night I had with Ethan.

"I had and amazing time baby." Ethan says running his fingers softly up and down my forearm.

"Yeah, me too. But I better go just incase Jacklyn gets back earlier than expected." I wrap myself in the bed sheet while grabbing my clothing and undergarments from the floor.

"Y/n she's away on a business trip so you can stay a long as you want. You know I love you baby. Don't leave the one day we can have no consequences for our love." He got up and started kissing my shoulder.

"Ethan. Stop." I rip away from his hold and turn around.

Ethan sighs before I start to speak. "We can't do this anymore Eth. I can't do this to Jacklyn. She's a sweet girl who loves you and you love her in return. I won't tell her, but we must stop this terrible crime we are committing." I tug at my hair out of stress.

"Y/n the things she doesn't know can't hurt her love." He smiles at me with that infamous smile.

"It's hurting me Ethan! I love you and you say you love me in return but you won't breakup with her to be with me! I'm not going to force you to breakup with her because she doesn't deserve that, but I'm not going to continue hurting myself. I deserve better. A love who will love me back." A tear streaks down my cheek.

Ethan is quiet as I put on my clothes. I walk up to him and stroke his cheek before I say, "Ethan I won't just wait around for you. But if I'm the next couple months you want to be with me just come to my house and say so. But Ethan before you end what you have with Jacklyn I want you to distinguish the difference between love and lust. I am in love with you Ethan Grant Dolan. But you are in lust with me."

I run out of the apartment sobbing as Ethan's calls my name but does not run after me.

I was just a period of lust for Ethan Dolan. And I will move on from my period of love.
