"So... you ready?" I asked from the other side of the glass, twirling the phone's cord with my index finger.
"R-Ready?... For what?" Sky asked me, shifting in her seat and readjusting the phone on her ear. She avoided eye contact. I can't believe after everything, she had the nerve to be fucking timid with me. Like, you weren't timid when you were fucking with my emotions were you? No, didn't think so. But that's okay, I'm over it, I got something for her.
I smiled, "I'm getting you out of here baby girl."
She chuckled dryly. "No..."
I pouted. "Why nooottt?" I whined.
"Because Bey, I deserve to rot in here... and I swear if you bail me out-"
I laughed. "I'm not wasting money on your bail bitch."
"Then why are we having this conversation?" She raised an eyebrow, clearly fed up with the topic.
"I'm busting you out." I said into the receiver, looking her dead in the eyes as I winked. I could hear her breath hitch as she froze up, just staring at me in awe.
"N-no, Beyoncé think about this, you have a whole life to live don't ruin it because-"
"Alright it's almost time to wrap it up." The guard said.
"Um, sir. Can you not?" I asked, squinting my eyes at him.
"Sorry Ms. Knowles, I'm just doing my job."
"Well do it elsewhere." I rolled my eyes, looking back at Sky. "You can continue your mini spazz session."
"Why are you so damn complicated?! I'm not even spazzing!" She cried out, exasperation written on her features. She was told to shush, and I only chuckled.
"You would think this was funny... fucking lunatic." Sky mumbled into the microphone.
"If I'm a lunatic, you are a maniac." I got up and rested my forehead on the glass, a smirk on my lips. "Why else do you think we fell for each other, Cinderella? We're the perfect match."
